Tax withholding on regulated US sites?

Hi,

I've been trying to figure out what the Tax situation is for non-US residents who play on regulated us sites. From what I understand anyone who's physically in the state can play on that states' regulated sites, but I can't quite find out how/if these sites withhold taxes. So a few questions:

- For cash games, from what I understand taxes are withheld per session. Does this mean everytime you leave a table 30% of your winnings are withhel

Is Dan Colman the best natural poker talent of all time?

Revisited an old Joey Ingram podcast with Dan Colman today, I usually consider Stu the GOAT when it comes to natural poker ability, but I think Dan Colman deserves to be in that conversation. In the podcast, he talks about how he became an NL 5k HUSNG reg without ever opening a solver or even really studying off the table. He has a nearly photographic memory, and was able to recall thousands of previous hands and deduce what he should be do

What stops users from posting exploits?

If these sites are as exploitable as some claim; what is stopping them from posting the exploit and simply shoving it in our faces?

Is it because they know that if you believe them; they'll likely get banned from whatever site they are exploiting? Is it because the community would metaphorically crucify anyone who made statements without providing proof?

Do you think if someone was cocky enough; they'd find a way to tell us without being d

Why do you play micro stakes?

Just wondering is there a reason you play mirco stakes? There are people out there who play it and it's not much money.

So why so you play mirco stakes?

Laggy poker sites.

Hi, every time I play on multiple poker sites I come across hard lag. To the point where I have to click my mouse 5 times to make FOLD/CALL/RAISE action. If I drop to 1 poker site then everything runs smooth and fast. Once I add 2nd poker site, tables become really laggy. Is it my PC hardware or I need to adjust settings on poker sites I play on?

blocked account ggpoker- PanPuchacz

Hello, GGPoker closed my account without any reason, stealing $3,000 from me just because I'm a winning player. They had absolutely no justification for doing this.

Best way to study/Training site for 9max online/live

Bit of a random one. Had a friend ask me about 9max online. I explained it exists but is way less popular but also softer. If someone was trying to primarily play 9max online and ante games and also play live how would they go about training studying? GTOwizard still seems good though its mostly 6 max weighted. What are some training sites that handle 9max online and live? Thanks!

Share your favorite deep cuts.

I always loved this line from Joe Bishop in the 2008 Main Event: "How much is it? ... No, it's not. Nah. It's this—All in." Hilarious moment from a really likeable character. Was definitely rooting for him.

Is PLO or NLH 6MAX more likely to be bot dominated?

Interesting question my group came up with. 3-5 years + from now as AI advances. Which game will be more human safe? Some interesting arguments for both sides. The fact NLH has more bet sizes helps it but also less combinations seem to be easier for computer beyond the fact it is already more studied. I am not sure which way I lean. This is not a question of which game you like better, but more which game will have tougher RTA issues.

Shot-taking @ Life

Being priority based is one of the key factors that ultimately leads one to success in poker to build an optimally fulfilling poker lifestyle. However, to achieve REAL success in poker, there needs to be a point in where someone says to themselves that they are willing to risk *career opportunities/hometown life/monetary, time investment* to continue climbing the ladder or reach a level of success that allows them to pursue other ventures i

Return to poker ♣️

I’m planning on making a return to playing both live and online after a break of several years.

I was a winning player at low/mid stakes between 2000-2013 but life and career limited my time since so playing very very little since 2013.

So what’s changed over the last decade?
Best sites to play on these days?

Pot Odds explained (By ChatGPT)

1. Explanation for a 5-Year-Old

Pot odds are like candy sharing. Imagine you and your friends have a jar of candy, and you want to decide if you should put in one of your own candies to win more from the jar. You look at how many candies are in the jar and how many you have to put in. If the jar has a lot more candies than you need to add, it’s a good idea. But if you only get a few more candies back, it might not be worth it.

7-Card Stud during poker boom

7 card stud used to be played in every room during the 2000s. I think poker has forgotten it and it's causing an imbalance in the game psychology with nl.
