I'm looking through the Washington State WAC and looking specifically for the Forward Moving Button Rule (not dead button), for Washington State cash games.
I've been told by multiple poker room people, that there is no Dead Button rule for cash games, yet I can't specifically find where this is written.
hello i like 2 plus 2 and the market place. when people win ACR packs they sell them on here. is there any other site that sells packs like this site. i want to expand on buying if possible or does everyone come here to sell?
I played almost 400 hands of nl2 against this weird dude who was probably terrible but somehow had amassed a stack of almost 1000BB. He took some money from me but in the end i was up about one buy in off him but i had about 400BB in my stack anyway hes a ****in weirdo since we were playin these weird 4-max tables they have on Americas cardroom he just gave me the creeps kept sucking out on gutshots otr and such… anywho on to the next
How yall play 100k hands in a month, how many tables do you play for how long in a day and how many days a month, lets see what the grinders out there have to say.
I was UTG in a tournament and raised 3.5BB. MP raises all-in with 5 BB. I thought the action was folded to me and announced call. Unknown to me, BB had not acted. He had his cards covered and took a good 15-20 seconds to act. He eventually calls.
I wanted to go all-in but thought BB would think I was trying to angle shoot him, so I just called. Flop comes Qc9d6d. We both get all our chips in. I have KK, BB has Q9o and takes all my c
I don't know why people insist on doing this. They have somehow managed to lose before even being dealt a hand in 95% of rake structures. Don't do this. Just move down limits. It's literally so bad for everyone at the table including the people buying in short.
I've played poker for a living for years. I took a break during Covid because the games stopped, but I started up again about two years ago. I started my career playing 1/2 and eventually moved up to 3/5. I've been pretty consistent, winning most months. I've never had two consecutive months in the negative until this event.
But recently I have been getting dragged through the mud. It's been four months now of an absolutely awful downswing.
Hi, I have a simple question, but Google and even AI (it can't even calculate ordinary pot odds correctly) couldn't help. I'm watching Triton Poker and there's Ike Haxton on BB calling BTN push 5.4bb with 42o. So, there are 2.4bb in the bank before push, of which 2bb was put by Ike. If antes were betting by whole table, then player on BB would needed to call 4.4bb, not 4,4bb minus his ante, right? But in the Big Blind Ante situation, pro pl

So a spot came up today that I was a little torn between. I’m playing 25nl and nit opens utg. I flat in middle position with pocket nines. If he was looser I would probably 3 bet but considering he’s pretty tight I decide to just play it more cautiously and flat. Then late position 3 bets, original raiser folds and I flat again like a fish. I flop an overpair with 852 and I check it in flow. He c-bets half pot I call. Turn is a blank like
I've recently gotten back into live casino NL Holdem, and have been either playing better or running good or both. Averaging about 50BB/100 hands over the last 210 hours. Session win ratio is only 57%.
But I can't stop playing. 210 hours so far in 2024 is a lot for me, especially since I play mostly during weekday daytime hours. Family obligations keep me from playing during weekends and evenings. I have always been a bit of a fitness freak
I used to play online poker on partypoker and pokerstars about 5 years ago and quit due to work commitments. I am thinking of playing again but obviously a lot has changed. I used to play tournaments and sit and gos. What i am asking is advice on which poker sites people use, any HUDs, i have used pokertracker and holdem manager and where to learn or catch up on current meta. Any information would be appreciated, thank you in advance.
For those that have played live....What are some dress codes/behavior/etc of 'bad players' that you can eyeball before they even play a hand?
If you were to walk into a room and had to ID the bad player by sight, or by observing their attitude; what attitude and dress choices scream 'I have no clue what I'm doing; you should eat me'?
My Goal: Dress the part, match the attitudes, and see if I can get better players to play recklessly against
What are the biggest gaps you see across the poker market?
Curious to hear thoughts and ideas about what everyone thinks is missing in the today’s poker industry. Feel free to bring up anything that comes to mind.
I’m a software engineer and part time poker player. As I’ve become more experienced, putting in a lot of volume on the tables, as well a lot of time studying over the years, I’ve definitely started to notice inadequacies across diff
Hi guys. I have returned to poker after a long hiatus. I was a fullring crusher in the ftp days. Now I'm dabbling in online 6max which is going well for now.
There are some live opportunities nearby, I have been there twice and its great fun.
My question is how hard do you have to crush to beat this rake structure, I have no clue about the math. This seems really hard to beat. Yesterday there were 2 whales, 3 terrible regs (fish) and one dece
Is there anywhere that offers micro-stakes heads up cash? Where is lowest rake? Is it a dead game dominated by cheaters? I played 6max on gg but want to switch to work on my technical game and they don't over it on gg. Am planning on starting at either 2NL or 5NL and working my way up. Does anyone have any training resources/ study groups. I am a winning player at 25NL R and C on gg but new to HU. Learning relatively quickly imo. Theory ori
