Cap of each betting round in Limit games
In Limit games, how many times can players raise until the ceiling is reached for that betting round?

Depends on where you are playing, and the situation. Often, the cap is 4 bets, but at my home casino it’s 5 bets. Additionally, the cap can be infinite on the river if you are heads up, depending on the rules where you are playing.

In broad terms, going by memory. Correct me if I'm wrong
CA, WA: 4 bets (bet and 3 raises)
NV: 5 bets
rest of the USA: who knows but I'd guess 4 bets is more frequent those places that have some sort of limit games.
Also stud games are weird because the bring in isn't a full bet so the completion, as the name implies, counts as the first bet.
