1 call in dark, folds to me, pot to $45, folds to a reg in bb who pots to $155, hero calls
Heads up he's $1000 eff. He plays NLH/PLO for a living. He would do that with double suited AXXX and other hands.

Turn Tx Bb $110, ?
Double gutted, clubs, and a Q could be good. We could be drawing dead tho or in very bad shape. We block wraps but he could still have that. I'm not sure if he
V in bb has huge sizing tells. He usually bets pot and only bets smaller when he doesn’t like the turn. I see him bet fold a lot with the smaller sizing. I think his flop betting range is 2p, sets, and some 35xx. 2K eff
Hero on btn with QQ87 with Q8dd
Pre: CO and hero limp. Sb makes it 30, bb str co hero call. 5 ways
Flop (150) : Q42r bdfd Check, BB bets 150, folds to hero who calls intending to ship good turns, sb folds. Hu
Hi All - I play a ton of Omaha and Big O in my home game and these situations come up often but I'm not sure if I'm making the correct calls/folds. I feel like I'm not calculating odds correctly. On to the hand. It's a $10 bomb pot so there's $90 in preflop. Everyone has about $300-$600. I have about $450.
My hand is A/J/9X with three hearts. Flop is 10/8/2 with 2 hearts. Small blind bets out $40 I call and 1 other person calls. Po
Main Villain (LJ) - $100 HJ - $120 - super loose, will make light calldowns CO - $200 - adept at mixed games, rarely gets out of line but on tighter side Button - $80 - Passive without the nuts, doesn't understand PLO well and will make weak calldowns
Hero (SB) covers all and has K♥5♥4♣4♦
Villain seems competent overall but has called down with some weaker hands in PLO bomb pots (i.e. straight on paired board with
Hello, big plo whale here, "a serious recreational player" if you may, who lately has had some success in plo mtt micro donkaments. In fact I bink a tourney quite often. However, I play intuitively mostly (I've read JNandez book and understand many spots but not all ofc, however I know nothing about how different stacks than 100 play or anything related to MTTs), and do not seem to find the same success in higher buy ins, busting around bef
Ive been playing a lot more Omaha lately and was wanting to advice or tips for any more experienced players as im relatively new to the game and trying to improve.
How are we to vary our game / strategy when playing 4 / 5 / 6 cards.
what are some of the better hands to player apart from AAxx and 4/5 connecting cards
Hi all Small question for the specialists of Plo4 and Plo5 because strangely I have not found any answer to this question anywhere.
Given that the buy-in ratio for a given cash game limit between NLHE and Plo 4 is 2 (for example for 100 buy-ins in NL50, you would need 200 in Plo50), what is the buy-in ratio between Plo4 and plo5 since the variance is higher in Plo5? Is it 2 too, 1.5?
The only answers I could get are that the standard deviat
Hi All, I am new to PLO but not new to poker. Did well at 5plo over 5k hands, playing some 10 plo and seem to be getting crushed.
Reading Hwangs and Jnandez's books have a 3rd I have not opened yet from Okolowitz/Tacschner. I am not 3 betting enough, and probably folding pre a tad too much.
Fish playing 80/0 over like 20 hands straddles utg ($80eff)
reg and maybe the best player at the stakes raises btn ($150eff)
hero covers both and 3bets with AAd8d2 from sb. I kind of autopiloted with the 3bet, not seeing how deep we were, even with a straddle. Cant be terrible but not the best aces. Fish and reg calls.
Flop Qd2d3. I cbet half pot with overpair + nfd, hoping that the btn doesn't have QQ here. I never know when or w
CO fish limps. Hero pots with KKhJ8h. BB and CO calls.
AJh7h. checks to hero who bets 2/3. bb calls co folds.
AJh7hQ. bb checks, hero pots.
AJh7hQ3. bb checks, hero pots.
Standard triple barrel with KT and JJ blockers or do I want to not have hearts for more autofolds? Not sure how that concepts translates from NLH to PLO.
