I'm looking to buy a new poker laptop, and one that can comfortably run PIO Solver. I understand that I'd be best with a desktop, but that isn't an option.
My understanding is that I want at least 32G of RAM and a fast processor. Any other advice generally or thoughts on a particular option? FWIW my budget here is up to $2k.
Since a year and a half Im not being able to play at PS because Ive got this error wich automatically closes your tables at any random pont. Anyone with the same problem could solve it? if so could you tell me how please? I wold love to play at pokerstars again. Thanks.
I finally sprung for the Pro version of PokerSnowie, and... I have thoughts...
There are some strategies suggested that can't possibly be viable. Not just like my human brain can't possibly comprehend what this super-machine is suggesting, but like it just straight up ain't mathin'.
For example, if BTN in a 100bb heads up game limps, the range it recommends for BB to raise 2 times the pot is over 75% of hands and then if BTN 3-bets, then BB c
Hi everyone, I've been playing 5 card Omaha online for about half a year and I've realised that my understanding of odds there is a bit off. So I've tried to find the odds calculator and all I am able to find is the 4 card one.
Does anyone know any calculator (preferably easy to use one, such as cardplayer.com has for the 4 card Omaha)?
I'm the original author of DD Poker, a Java-based computer game that ran on Mac, Linux and Windows and originally sold in stores in physical boxes. I'm pretty sure it has been discussed on these forums, back in the day.
I shut down the backend servers in 2017 but the game is still functional and people can still play each other online even though the central lobby and find-a-game functionality no longer work.
Please post random thoughts / requests, general low content posts, anything you like (within reason and within the remit of this forum) in this thread.
It will be monitored by regs who may be kind enough to answer if you ask politely. They are much more likely to respond politely if you ask in here than if you make a new thread for a trivial question Google could answer in less time and with less effort 😀
Can someone explain this new PS feature where you can click on any of your two dealt cards and it elevates it up while graying out the other? I really hope I'm not inadvertently just revealing my hand to the table lol
Apologies if this has be asked/answered but wasn’t able to find anything via search.
I’ve been playing a bunch of games on Pokernow. I have plus, and it claims that you can import it’s OHH files into HEM and PT, but I am not able to get it to work.
Anyone here have success importing Pokernow hands or OHH files into HEM/PT?
pokerdatahub.com Simply upload your .txt hand file, log in and your results will be saved online! Its free up until 10,000 hands and $3.99/month for 500,000 hands. It will not replace offline HUD apps, but if you just want to track your sessions this is a really good way to do it. If there is good reception, I would definitely expand the features to include more statistics and analysis.
You can play vs it, I would like to know maximum score you can get! Variant is Ultimate Jokers, so two jokers in play and re-fantasy gets as many cards as fantasy had. If you find any bugs/problems please let me know!
is there some program that will be always on top while I write something into it while play on pokerstars? (and then I copy from this program note to H2N)

Allows me to put in game type all the way from 10 max to heads up, with custom stack size, bet sizes, rake % (very important factor for different sites and live games) and outputs optimal gto preflop ranges. Postflop is not that important since I can port these ranges into other postflop solvers.
I've been doing some research and it seems like only simple preflop and monka solver can do these calculations? What about the new PIO, can it han
I've been reading a couple of no-limit books and have a question concerning solver output which should be very easy to answer.
What happens is I'll read something like the solver has chosen to make a 3 big blind bet. Is that because the solver is given one or more possible bet sizes and of those given bet sizes this is the one it determines to be best or is it because out of the world of all possible bet sizes (which would be 1 big blind up
I have been using HM3 for a while and have been generally quite content. It recently came to my attention, however, that is it not possible to graph chips won pr. tournament played. You can graph chips won pr. hand and prize money pr. tournament, but is not possible to "combine" these to graph chips won (and chipev) pr. tourny/SNG. Because of this shortcoming, I decided to give PokerTracker 4
You have a question you would like to ask, but you didn't find a relevant software product thread in the Poker Software forum, post your question here. You need advice or you want to share your opinion on different software products and how they compare to one another, you've come to the right place.
