When will Wynn release this years WPT series?

Also I see last year there was plenty of other series around town at the same time
Just wondering if anyone remembers the timelines for any of these being released last year

If we assume a similar timeline for this year, you'd expect detailed dates by the end of next month.
I've been tracking Wynn for August Signature Series dates and haven't seen anything for that yet, much less their December dates. IMO these venues could do a better job of giving us advance notice so we can book ahead, but it is what it is. They are going to draw a lot of players regardless. Right now they are busy finishing up the summer.
They've given us preliminary dates of 12/3-12/23 for the series. Based on last year's timeline, I would estimate roughly 12/7 weekend for the Prime starting flights this year and 12/14 weekend for the $10k starting flights. Those are likely to bleed into the following weeks.
Would not expect any concrete dates from Venetian, RW, or MGM quite yet. Venetian haven't even announced August dates yet. With the summer series and the imminent move to a new room, they may just be buried in other priorities at the moment.
Personally, I'm planning 12/17-12/23 for a December trip because the dates are cheap. I'll arrive too late for the marquee Wynn stuff, but hopefully they'll have a multi-day $1.6k or something similar on the tail of their series again like last year. Last year I fired the Prime, which was fun, but also a circus.

I think they just finished a series. I’m guessing it will be released pretty soon, but maybe they’re waiting for the WSOP to make the first move so they don’t get screwed like last year.

They released the Wynn Fall Classic schedule recently. That was the last domino before WPT.

the WSOP/GG made the first move weeks ago with the paradise series in bahamas which seems to be geared at high rollers (25k main event, lot of perks for folks playing 100k+ in total BIs).

WPT site seems to show 12/8-12/11 for the $1100 prime day ones and 12/14-12/16 for the $10400 day ones. Full schedule imminent?
Looks like further dates have been announced, though this tweet claims the full schedule will be released in a week.

I have to say their decision to hold the WPT Prime Championship event with day 1's starting on Sunday is very peculiar. Last year this was Thur-Sun. My guess is they are trying to juice the numbers for the more expensive and worse-structured Mystery Bounty event. Kinda disappointing.
Can a debit/credit card be used for WPT buy-ins at the Wynn?
My bank doesn’t have a branch in Vegas. If I can’t use a card for buy-ins, are the only other options to travel with cash or do a wire to the Wynn?

Just really weird. They have one mega field event with day 2 on Friday, then another mega field event starting on Sunday. On Saturday, they’re holding their mystery bounty with a relatively uninspiring guarantee and a single starting flight.
I haven’t checked the structures, but I’m guessing that Saturday mystery bounty will have the worst structure of the three.
I’m sure they will do fine but this is an uninspiring schedule. Kind of disappointing IMO.
Been looking some more at this. I'm not sure they could have made a less recreational player-friendly schedule if they tried. The only scheduled event that might appeal to recs is the crypto-scam, I mean crypto-product, freeroll, which won't even be an open event.
It's hard to know what their angle is, but having a series which gets the most attendees and entries doesn't appear to be at the top of their agenda.
Shrug. Looks OK to me. Lots of variety in buy-in levels, structure, and formats. Lots of satellite offerings.

My issues aren’t with the events themselves. It’s with the schedule. This is a big departure from years past and pretty much every other Wynn series. The only open weekend event is the Mystery bounty at the end. The rest are mid-week. This is just a bizarre strategy. I expect a big reduction in field sizes for both the WPT Prime and World Championship compared to last year, but of course, we’ll have to wait and see.
You'd think the Prime might start mid-week so they could have the final day 1 on a Saturday and day 2 on a Sunday, but I also don't know if the population of people willing to spend $1100 on a poker tournament is going to be too worried about carving out some weekdays in mid-December, which is traditionally a slow period in some industries due to holiday proximity. Likewise, if you can afford to fire a $10,400 main event then you probably aren't stressing over missing a few weekdays.
I think their numbers will be down from 2023 without the massive guarantee on the Main to drive a PR blitz, but maybe they feel like their brand is well enough established that they don't need the parlor tricks to pull a large player pool. Another thought is that they might want to avoid an arms race with GG Poker/WSOP-P and a potential embarrassing overlay situation.
I'm very much in the rec category and I'm sure I'll play at least 1-2 events at Wynn in December. I'll fill in the gaps with whatever is going on at Venetian, RW, and other venues.

The ME was midweek in the past. So, like you said, any reduction in field will be due to the elimination of the guarantee. That was a big draw. They bit off more than they could chew last year, but I’m surprised they got rid of it altogether. Even 20MM would make for an epic event.
Anyhow, I have no idea what the strategy is with the Prime Championship. Nobody holds an event Sun-Thu intending to get as big a field as possible. With 4 starting days, it will be hard for them to miss their guarantee. But I don’t think it will be anywhere as big as last year’s 10K+ entry monster.
And December is slow in Vegas precisely because people don’t typically take Vegas vacations around the holidays. I think a big draw during this time of year is folks coming from CA or other relatively close locales in the west coast. And if someone is a rec, they are not as likely to want to take days off with no guarantee of a payout. At least in the past, you could be in the money before having to take a day off. Not anymore. It’s basically two days off minimum, never mind if one wanted to fire multiple day ones. I just don’t think this is going to work well. What should have been an opportunity to build off of a really successful event last year looks like a step back. Maybe they weren’t able to get as much space. Who knows?
Because of how late thanksgiving is. Theres less weekends for them before christmas. This year is one of the shortest calendar days between post thanksigiving and Christmas because of how the weeks fall.
