Ignition Casino May Be Hacked? [Resolved - It's Not Hacked]

Seems like Ignition Casino's cashier is hacked. I deposited from a QR Code on their site and they say they have not received transaction. Spent hours chatting with the most unprofessional customer service team you can imagine. They all gave me a different story. Stay safe.

Can't you just show them the transaction?

Did you mix up Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash? Those are 2 different currencies and I almost made that mistake one time.

I believe the same thing has just happened to me, hopefully im overreacting as it was just an hour ago but the transaction has already gone thru so no reason it shouldnt have shown up in my account as it always does. Either way ive emailed them the details, by no means am i new to depositing or withdrawing crypto on there so im certain it wasn't my fault by sending to a wrong address or mix up in the type of crypto. Fwiw it was ETH tho, OP would appreciate to hear if you have any updates on your case. Ill keep my fingers crossed for now but im not too hopeful as ive heard some horror stories from legit people over the years in similar dealings unfortunately.

Not that anyone cares lol but just to follow up, they did end up finally crediting my deposit. Took about 30 hours from when I made it and I had to reach out to customer support via twitter and email but it ended up getting resolved.

They resolved the issue guys. But I had to jump through hoops. 6 hours chatting MULTIPLE EMAILS. No one could tell me what the issue was. Which is why I posted this. If I'm being told the crypto never arrived we do not own that address, but I got it from you, then that's a problem.

As noted here I made the mistake of hitting bitcoin sv.

My mistake, which had they told me initially I would have said damn I ****ed up.

But I got different answer after different answer almost as if they were making it up as they went along.

Finally today I got this.

Gotta say they gained my respect I had deleted them and was never going to deposit there again.

Issue resolved.

Hi Harry,

Thanks for contacting Ignition Casino Customer Service.

We hope this email finds you well and enjoying your day.

We are really sorry for any inconvenience caused Harry, we carefully review your account and can see that you sent BTC to Bitcoin SV. But don't worry, this an happen to anyone.

Always double check the cryptocurrency you are sending before making the transfer as they are NOT interchangeable (Ex. Bitcoin and Bitcoin SV are not the same currency).

Sending one type of cryptocurrency to a different cryptocurrency's address will result in a loss of funds.

As a good will gesture, we will credit your deposit for 48.45 as a One Time Exception. You will be able to see it on your reward page.

If you need something else, please, feel free to contact us.

We're available to help 24/7 through this way or via live chat.

Wishing you a wonderful day,

Ignition Casino Customer Service.

What's the issue about it? It's a Casino Bonus of the amount of your Deposit (apparently) with a 1x rollover requirement. I'd be surprised if their policy didn't state that you have to wager your Deposit 1x before cashing out anyways. This is very common practise, and different sites will have you wager your deposit multiple Times even with no Bonus active. The only kinda weird thing here is that instead of crediting you in $, they did so in a Casino bonus that would be released upon wagering what you'd have to wager before withdrawing anyways.

I shouldn't have to earn my funds back.

They didn't tell me that in the email, they said they would give me a credit.

Period.

Not I have to deposit on there again possibly lose that cash to get what was mines.

There is nothing they can say that will justify it.

I will stick to ACR.

I will also make sure to tell anyone that I know online or in person the same.

The bold part is most relevant, they didn't and don't owe you anything, own your mistake and learn from it and count yourself fortunate that 1. It was only a relatively small amount and 2. They credited you with something.

As for your last statement, bring a ladder with you when your digging that hole.

Seems like a pretty good result after you yeeted your BTC into the abyss
