1k 2€ spin and goes (twisters)

1k 2€ spin and goes (twisters)

Hi everyone, I recently found myself low rolled due to some poor broll management in cash games, mixed to the fact that I'm running bad (I assume😀) for the stakes that I used to play.

since I found success with spin and go in the past, and I really don't feel like grinding 2nl, I'll play those with roughly 12BI and if I bust I'll deposit some more, if I manage to stay alive I'll keep on grinding till the volume I stated in the title, that should in theory get me a bankroll again that is decent.

I either bust or succeed I guess eheh
I'll be 2-3 tabling mainly (can't handle more) and I'll try to keep you updated the field at those stakes tends to be really soft and I'm hoping to get this fone in around a month and a half hopefully, wish me luck! 😀)

starting broll: 25$
about to start my first spin, wish me luck

1st session done, was a quick one!
I think I'm a winning player at these stakes even multitabling

most of my edge is gained post flop, in the first half of the spin I tend to dominate when stacks are "deep", exploiting the fact that people play scared, also the simplicty of the format makes hand reading very easy when coupled with some solid understanding of ranges.

push fold after that is pretty much a coin flip, little edge to gain there (at these stakes at least) although I have some solid charts to fall back onto

weather all of this is enough to overcome the swingy nature of the format an allow me to survive with 12 BI is unknown, tho I feel pretty confident with my win rate and playstyle/gamesense, we'll see.

Broll update: 36$ (+6BI p/l)

PS for everyone wondering, I know a 1k spin is not a good volume to fight off variance long term, you can have down swings that are even bigger than that, this is not a consideration that ill keep in mind, since I'm already trying to go against the odds by only playing with 12 (now 18lol) buy ins, I'm not afraid to go bust, what I want to do is see of I can have a big enough edge (ev wise) long term in this format and if I caan manage to build a roll in the meantime 😀)

I might try to aggressively shot take following these rules :

Initially I'll shot take at the next stake when I get 10 BI at that stake, and fall back down when I get below said BI.

If the shot is successful Ill keep on playing there and try to grow the acc to 50BI at that stake before trying that stunt again I'll still keep the SL at 10BI (so that the chance of ruin is minimized)

before implementing this I'd like to fet some feedback from you people, and I'll keep you posted on if I decide to go the aggressive route 😀

Morning people, or in this case just me hahaha

I'm currently on a long train trip towards Milan!

Played on and off some 1€ and 2€ (on my phone) to kill time and I think ill do the same during the day, I'm about to approach the first milestone of the challenge volume wise

Broll update: 41$ (p/l: +2.5BI)

Second micro session of the day,
went on a bit of a downswing (6BI or so wich is nothing for spins) but managed to close in profit.

I'm currently playing on Eurobet, I'd love to check my current win rate (BB/100) but I don't use poker tracker atm so don't know what to tell you, sharkscope doesn't help either.

I feel like 2$ spins is really where the money is when it comes to spins, 5€ start to get thougher, plenty of fish too but I think I need to be properly rolled and can't run around like an idiot with 10BI like I was doing here lol.

I might shot take here and there when on an heater (keeping the strict 10BI rule to heart) so we'll see.

my edge when it comes to this format comes from exploiting population tendencies and using probabilities, since the edge is so small, when I recognize a +ev move I just take it, no matter how small, doing that you create fold equity, wich is the name of the game in spins, if that doesn't ho in you're favor, too bad, you fire up another game.

that's the approach that really helps me with these challenges (it's not the first one of its kind that I do).

Hand read, Ranges, Probability and generally being aggressive to generate a moderate amount of fold equity, make sure to get also you're preflop game sorted out!

Broll update: 50$ (p/l: +7BI)

Good morning everyone 😀
ended up shot taking this morning, didn't go as planned ended up getting run over by slowplayers

I'm thinking of changing up my BR approach, whenever I'm looking to shot take, I do so only if I have at least 15 BI in that stake and I set a stop loss at 4 BI (those hands I review) after that if I crush I drop down and set another SL at 10BI at the previous stake, if the shot is successful Ill still keep the 4BI rule and reap profits if I lose later on, that is untill I have at least 30BI at the new stake, after that I consider it playable and reset my parameters.

hope it made sense

BR update: 69$nice😀 (p/l: 9,5BI)
