Survivor: GENERAL THREAD

Survivor: GENERAL THREAD

I wanted to post something Survivor related but realized there's no general thread about Survivor. Each thread is about a particular season or votes for hottest, best, etc.

Given that who knows when/if the show will come back, here's a general thread to post all things Survivor.

I won't ruin the OP with my content post, so it will come next.

Enjoy and come on in guys!

Happy for Parvati, will be very funny looking back at Micronesia when Natalie makes that speech where she comes on to Parvati.

She married John Fincher. Had kid. Got divorced. Got restraining order. Now she's gay

I prefer to feel she is now bisexual .... there is still a chance 😀

Hilarious rumour going on twitter thar Wendell's baby momma left him because he cheated on her with Dee. The first part, that she left him seems to be indisputably true, based on screencaps of her insta stories, the second part may be bullshit.

If true though, Austin threw away the million for a woman who betrayed him in the game and then cucked him with a Survivor winner. Sad.

Beat me to it lol

It’s spelled with two E’s

You think Austin could've won if he wasn't loved up? I'm not so sure he had a winning path.

Austin prob wins if he gets to the final with Katurah and Jake.

Wendell confirmed he "kicked it" with Dee on twitter. LOL.

They said on RHAP that Dee is a size queen and that Austin didnt quite measure up to Wendell’s accomplishments

Judging from Wendell's statement - which he quickly deleted but you can find it - he lied about his relationship status and apologized to both parties involved. I'd imagine what happened is he had a chance to hook up with Dee and told her he was single or not serious with his girlfriend just to get laid, and then the whole thing blew up.

Wendell sounds like a real winner.

Wendell sounds like a real winner.

Poor austin

So all these Survivor alum just hang out with each other? If I'm on the show, I fly back home when it's done, and then just hop on a flight to meet up with someone else from another season I've never met before?

Remember when Wendell and Michele were exes on the beach?

The old schoolers were early targets on WAW not just because of their legacies but because a lot of them had known each other for years.

Ethan dated Amber before Rob did

Not just the old schoolers on WAW. Similar to all returnee player seasons was largely determied by pre game

Tony, Sandra, Sarah = Pre game good friends
Nick, Sophie, Yul, Wendell, Michelle = Well documented pre game alliance
Jeremy, Natalie = Pre game good friends.
Tyson, Rob, Amber Ethan, Parvati = Pre game decades long good friends

Also seen rumours that Adam & Denise had pregamed

So leaves only Kim, Danni and Ben out of a cast of 20 as people coming into the game 'pure'

I think it was more competitive than the initial all-stars tbh, where Boston Rob and Amber controlled the game in large part because every other good player was DOA with maybe the exception of Lex and Kathy, who Rob ate for lunch.

It can help and hurt, I think really only Danni went in completely out of the loop. Adam in his RHAP retrospective says the reason he targeted Parvati the round that Ethan went home was that he and Ben were good friends pregame. Ben and Sarah potentially had a pre-game alliance. So it really drove a lot of the strategy, but I think it was mostly the old-schoolers that got burned. Parvati landed on a swap tribe with the 4 people in a pre-game alliance. I don't think she had a chance. Rob said on a podcast that his biggest regret would not be getting Sandra on board earlier with the old-schoolers, her being deadset against Tyson and Amber really hurt their chances. Also think he blundered getting out Natalie the first round.

Be interesting to look back and evaluate, I think mostly it validated a lot of my opinions. Tony, Sarah, Sophie and Kim, great winners, Ben one of the worst players to ever win, Sandra a bit of a mess, Rob too controlling and Denise ... just passive

Ben had pre game alliance with producers

Sorry forgot about Ben & Sarah. Had heard they had a pregame alliance also.

I also remember reading Parvati only found out about the Michelle/Wendell/Yul/Nick pre game alliance when she got to edge and was pretty upset about it which is why the old schoolers were so pissed at Yul & Wendell when they arrived shortly afterwards

Agree with this.

-My very high opinions of Sophie, Kim and Tony and Yul all stayed very high
-Opinion on Sarah increased from good to very good
-My solid opinions of Adam, Parvati, Ethan, Danni, Amber, Tyson, Rob, Wendell, Sandra, Natalie, Michelle, Jeremy stayed around the same
-My opinions on Denise and Nick went down from good to average

-My low opinions of Ben stayed low

Looks fun

Sandra and Parvati both on season 2 of The Traitors. First three episodes already out;

Spoiler
Show

Parvati recruited as a traitor. Can see her going about 7th-9th place
