Sure you have an Ace, but I don't give it much credit as a Blocker against this Board. You also have one Flush Blocker that you don't mention.

If you were to blast this spot it has to be on the Turn as pretty much any River Pot bet will look like missed Flush and you are going to get called down by Ax/set holdings. Not sure it would work in this exact spot since V picks up three pair to go with the Gutter they already had.

Not so sure we should even call PF, but we do have B. Then we really shouldn't be bloating the pot when BB 3b range should be stronger against this Board than a B open. Probably need to let the Turn come out and go from there with any 'plans' you may think of. GL

I would check back the flop - he's never x/f a better hand, so you're either significantly ahead or he's x/c a better hand. On the turn he's going to have 2pr/set a lot - maybe the straight here and there as well as your line looks like a flush draw/straight/low equity bluff if you have the image. I don't hate this line and I don't love it - he did call with 2 pair here but we don't know at what frequency he calls or folds. Seems marginal and very player dependent

Pre good -
Flop I would never stab this board. Even at 150bb eff villain should be range cbetting here. Our range just doesn't really have any bets on this flop even after villain checks given how hard villain's squeeze range should hit this texture. As played once villain calls flop we've basically narrowed his range to sets taking a passive line or semi top of range (AAT/KKT) blocking your continues. Think on this board we're just already planning on giving up unless we hit a very favorable runnout

Turn: As played I don't hate the bet blocking T9 and Ax. Technically he's not getting the price even vs half and still has rivers to play.

River: Prob giving up blocking the A especially. Haven't ran a sim but would imagine this is our worst anti blocker given bottom of his turn calling range that isn't straights will often be AK/AQ/AA which have easy river folds. If we do bet (and maybe it is a bet) I like your sizing. No need to go pot here imo if we're targetting his top of bluff catch range. Our value range also wants to invite river calls here and 1/2 pot alone puts him in the pain box with all non straights.

I don't think I am even opening this hand against this particular SB & BB. They are not folding and hand doesn't play well, even in position, against players that are calling down a lot. I actually don't mind the flop bet against this particular player once he checks to you though. However, once he calls the flop, we have to check it down from there imo.

+1 what tiltyfish said.

Flop:
99 are not relevant blockers or even really relevant future blockers. One A in AKQ is not really a blocker at all. You can probably name combos with much better blocker value. Check back the flop. Your opponent has a range advantage here. You don't even have bdfd and really unclean outs if you have outs at all. Sometimes you got to bluff without any outs or very unclean ones starting from the flop but this isn't it.

Pre is fine.

You are not really playing blockers in this hand. The texture is wrong to account for something like that.

Its also a clear X/F on flop, it is never a bet. In all fairness you butchered this hand about as bad as possible.

To put it in lamens terms, the BBs 3! pre should be sending you a lot of warning signs he has hit this flop. BB 3! range is very tight in PLO.

Yikes, SB and BB VPIPs look insane.

New to the game: What are reggish VPIP/PFR stats?
