Only have 17 hands on villain in which they ran 18/12 so all we can say is that they are not a maniac

From my experience of villains in this pool these kind of monster overbets are pretty much always nutted. The thing is though what can he have?

There is 1 single combo of A4s out there and I guess 1 each of things like 54s, 64s and 43s (The player pool almost never raises flopped trips though).

That being said I have played my hand like Jx or an overpair and they're still making this bet so it seems like it can't be anything else.

Fold, for the reasons you have stated yourself.

He also has some 99, and a sliver of JJ.

JJ//99 beat you and I've seen nitty players flat QQ+.

Their range is definitely way weighted towards trips once they minclick flop.

Massive overbets rep less by design I don't think that's a reason to overcall especially when there's no obvious blocker for villain like 3 flush boards. Ah maybe but that's hard to reach river with.

Vs a fish minclick sure call down vs reasonable bets with bluffcatchers

I think it's a pretty easy fold.
