President Joe Biden

President Joe Biden

Right now, we need VP Biden, we need him to step down and drop out so Bernie sanders can save this country from this global crisis just like FDR.

A thread to debate the efficacy of a Joe Biden Presidency in the midst of a global pandemic and impending Great Recession/Depression.

Where is Joe Biden? Can he beat Trump and is he even trying to? What would a Joe Biden Presidency look like in these times? Where is he and why isn't he leading?

montreal, you do realize that somewhere likely north of 95% of Americans couldn't tell you what a recession is, right? Most Americans likely think a recession is when things in the economy aren't going well and for a lot of people things are not going well. Many people don't understand real economics - they know their kitchen table economics.

Go tell them that we aren't in a recession because of GDP growth and most people will likely blankly stare at you and have no clue what you said, ask what GDP is or ask why you say "eh" so much.

What criminal statute do you think Biden violated, and why isn't the Republican Party calling for charges to be brought? Are they incompetent?

I literally made screenshots above of the criminal statute that I think Biden violated.

Republicans did ask for charges for these matters then settled on Mayorkas as the responsible party for various reasons including the fact SCOTUS is currently determining the extent of presidential immunity, and it might very well be the case Biden violated federal statutes but is immune of charges.

Moreover any charges have to start with the DOJ IE Biden himself lol.

PlayBig should have all the latest updates on Biden treason arrest and proceedings.

They aren't, it's specifically about medicaid and respondents know if they are on medicad or not.

This is not about all the obamacare package, just about medicaid expansion.

Besides, what makes you think that the poors in red states vote red? especially in urban areas?

How many of these people have you personally met?

The american house of representatives believes Mayorkas committed felonies, is that conspiracy thread material? an impeachment by the house?

Pretty much, yep. Most of the Republicans in Congress believe conspiracy theories. And they don't really think Mayorkas committed any crimes, they just wanted to impeach someone because they're mad about the Trump impeachments. Their short attempt to impeach Biden was so crazy that they realized it was going nowhere so they switched to someone lower on the ladder. They think of it as a game, nothing they do related to elections is sincere; they just want to do anything they can to make sure that more Republicans are elected

Correct - they just think we're in a recession because right wing media tells them things are bad.

The spending numbers show that, despite them thinking things are bad, Americans have been going on a spending spree for non-essential goods and services since the Covid restrictions let up. They're brainwashed into thinking things are bad now and were better before, all while they're spending more and more of their increased discretionary income.

Do you think that Trump did absolutely everything in his power to catch and return illegal immigrants? Even though the businesses that support him love their cheap labor? Of course not, he could have beefed up INS, sent them to every restaurant and construction site in every major city and checked everyone for their papers. That would have caught hundreds of thousands of people.

Clearly this is yet another crime that Trump committed while in office, and should be added to his list of indictments.

i don't know if trump did everything in his power but I think he did roughly what Obama did if not a tad better which was enough to not be a blatant dereliction of duty (I am not counting COVID which helped a lot to reduce illegal influx)

Exactly .
No wonder lot Republican like yourself make terrible conclusion about the economy .

Ps: like you love to say , of the economy is fine but they can’t extract anything from it it’s their problem right ?

The best I heard was some republican saying that Biden could be impeached because he threatened to withhold aid to Israel if they attacked Rafa. Nevermind that a few years ago republicans were okay with secret threats of withholding aid conditioned on purely personal favors, by their new standards JFK could have been impeached for ending the Cuban missile crisis.

Trump was impeached for blocking (and later releasing) a congressionally mandated payment to Ukraine.

By democrats.

Well, it's confirmed....'ol Joe **** his pants again standing on stage with Macron.

You guys are literally voting for an invalid dementia patient. The worst part is you all know he's really just a body the shadow gov't puts out there and has absolutely no say in anything...except what flavor ice cream he eats and what kids he sniffs.

Can any Biden voter tell me with a straight face that those in power aren't intentionally burning the country down to usher in a technocratic slave system or am I just deluded?

tbf the issue of invalid pants-shitting dementia patient presidential candidates is bipartisan

biden on his absolute worst day is still miles more intelligent and coherent than Trump on his best. biden isn't my guy by any means, but to say with a straight face(to borrow the language) that trump is somehow the better option for the country or the world is hilariously stupid.

No.

Trump's first impeachment took place after a formal House inquiry found that he had solicited foreign interference in the 2020 U.S. presidential election to help his re-election bid, and had then obstructed the inquiry itself by telling his administration officials to ignore subpoenas for documents and testimony.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_impe....

Blocking of the aid by itself could have been okay. The problem is he got caught but multiple witnesses asking for a bribe. Really the aid was not relevant. Just calling Zelenskyy and saying hey do me a favor and publicly announce an investigation into my main political rival would have been impeachable.

No he wasn't.

Come on. You don't actually believe this partisan nonsense.

Biden has barely got the cognitive ability of a 3 year old. The world is teetering on the brink of WW111 and nuclear armageddon and you want another 4 years of a literal dementia patient in charge. God help us.

It wouldn't matter that much. By OP's account, the people around him would just run the show. Same as they did when Reagan was senile and talking to astrologers.

I'm sure even the brightest presidents mostly just listen to advisors, as they are ignorant about most stuff.

We've got two guys who were never really smart to begin with and who are diminished now, so just gotta pick one.

There's merit to having others around the president doing the work vs a president that would rather burn it all down for a dopamine rush.

Pretty soon we will have an AI bot dressed with a 10 gallon hat giving speeches.

Even 90% of Biden voters would cringe at this beyond wetawded statement. You seriously cannot be that stupid.

What are the chances one could be a billionaire and the most popular politician in history and not be intelligent? Pretty sure it's 0.00%

Sorry, are you claiming that Trump is the most popular politician in history? I'm not sure there's a single metric that would support that, so I assume I'm misreading something.
