he could be slightly demented since 8-10 years ago and stable at that, that's not impossible .
but can you point to anything you see today in trump behavior which wasn't there already with the same frequency and intensity in 2016?
I think they're saying that it's not ideal, but better than having a president who is a traitor who already tried to overturn election results.

Biden is probably the right candidate to stave off trump til 2028, but he’s the absolute wrong president to prevent an inevitable outcome. Not sure who on the dem bench has the balls to do what needs doing no matter how many feathers it ruffles

i agree exit polls and in general sub demo analysis of the vote can be very imprecise but the same is true long after the election.

I can separate what I want to be true from what is true. And your position isn’t weaker than you thought. It’s just wrong. Like I posted an article literally explaining on a pop level why it’s wrong. i'm not drawing an equivalence. there is no equivalence. trump is much dumber initially, much dumber right now, and will be much dumber in 4 yrs time. it isn't even particularly close. i've never seen anyone show an example of Biden saying the sheer stupidity of stuff trump says and does. literally every clip people rage about Biden is just an 80 yr old guy at his nth function of the day on a stage he's never been on looking for the exit when it's time to leave. that's not dementia. that's just normal. OR the clip is a deceptively edited ragebait hitjob like the parachute one, where it's very obvious he's addressing the parachuter that just landed because that's what he was there for.

Uh no. He walks away from the parachuter that just landed, which everyone else was paying attention to, towards another one that must have landed earlier. The Italian PM then has to go and direct him back to the main focus of attention, like a parent would with a distracted child.
