Really?

I mean, all big time politicians are psychopathic. they dont get there without. isnt Trump?

but you cut out a specific part of that quote....

by lozen P

You know the chances of the first one happening are zero and the second remote . Obama had the best chance on codifying Roe vs Wade

I’m curious , would you want those changes ?
I love in Canada we have a 75 years old limit .

Btw if trump loses might be a good idea Harris push an amendment for president nominee to be below 80 years at the end of their presidency term ….

We didn't have a "RFK reveal" moment recently, his insane takes were well established a while ago, at least among people who knew who he is.

And no I didn't expect RFK drew more support from democratic-leaning voters, that wasn't obvious at all

Didn't him dumping a dead bear in NYC a decade ago make national headlines this week? It certainly made it to the front page of BBC News.

I like this guy.

Tim Walz is exactly what JD Vance is pretending to be.

As a Republican I have decided to not vote for the Maga Party this election.
I am done with the hate and division. When. the Republican Party returns
I will consider returning as well. I will not vote for hate and division NO more Maga

Why in the world would she do that?

If Trump is still alive there is a decent chance he will attempt to be the candidate again in 2028. And the Republicans seem to be unable to step in and stop him. The funny thing is that if they do stop him, he might just run as a 3rd party candidate to basically say f*ck you to them for running against him.

So, no age limits in the USA. At least until Trump dies...

Spend the next 4 years under house arrest at maralago campaigning for 2028?

Nvm trump , look at Biden .
Shouldn’t US politics be fixed to stop clown shows over partisanship and winning at any cost concept ?

Btw playing with democracy just to earn a win on trump in 2028 isn’t worth it .

Just close all those stupid narratives about cognitive dissonance for all future presidents so that real politics policies talks comes back in fashion .

S&P almost back to even from Monday’s KAMBLABA CRASH!!!!

They have taken a deep breath and realised Trump is still favourite to win the election

trump is already looking and sounding like ****, he'll more or less be what brandon is now in 2028. probably worse. if he's still alive...

Of course it's worth it.

If Harris attempts to limit the age of a President it will be a rallying point of all Republicans for the next election. They are Trumps' lap dogs.

Also, it would require 60 votes in the Senate. At best the Democrats will have 50 Senators in all likelihood.

So there is no way it would pass. Especially because there will be a lot of Democrats who will want it to fail (just like I do).

No big reveal since the brain worms that I can recall, but I see no reason that a big reveal is necessary. Maybe people are just gradually learning more. But of course Biden stepping aside could have facilitated a shift, and that doesn't require more support from democratic-leaning supporters, there could be a significant number of his supporters that are republican-leaning/neutral voters who won't vote for Trump but also didn't want to vote Biden. That said, he has some beliefs that align more on the left and he is a Kennedy, so I always assumed he had some support from both sides of the political spectrum.

I was assuming that was too recent to show up in polling already, but if not, that of course would've had an impact as well.

In news that should surprise nobody, Stable Business Genius Free Speech Absolutist who said he doesn’t want advertisers who are mad about his antisemitism is now suing the advertisers (remember his ‘go **** yourself’ to absolute silence when he clearly expected thunderous applause? I remember. That was wonderful) that left cuz it turns out they lost that revenue cuz they aren’t advertising anymore and Elon thinks that’s not fair

That lawsuit should go well. This guy is the defendants' star witness, they should subpoena him to testify:

not sure what legal basis there is to sue someone for not wanting to advertise with you, but if it goes to trial i hope that the defense rolls out the tv+vcr like the opening scene in better call saul and plays the "go **** yourself" clip and then goes home

Dude massively shot himself in the dick over the whole twitter purchase debacle and seemed to like it so much that he's reloading.

No. If they codify it then the Dems no longer have a massive vote gaining position.

Yeah, I just saw the "no reveal moment recently" comment and didn't think about the context of polling. You're right that it's probably too recent to have any impact on polls yet.

If trump lose this election I’m pretty sure many republicans will be happy to vote for it , get rid of loser trump , and regain their party from maga …
I’m sure many of them are silently tired of trump show .

Well, it sure was a hell of a reveal for anyone that was somehow unaware of his...uniqueness. 😃

Again if politics isn’t about solving problems when u can but let people suffer just to gain vote , maybe they deserve trump and lose democracy .

Not followed what's going on for a few days, but can anyone tell me, has Trump gone mental yet?

They have been tired of the Trump show for years.

But what they understand is that if they come after Trump by voting for making it illegal for him to be President, they will face a MAGA Trump person in their next primary.

That is why the only Republicans who criticize Trump now are either already retired or they are announcing that they aren't running again.

The only Republican who is still in office and constantly criticizes Trump is Lisa Murkowski (Alaskan Senator) who is currently contemplating becoming an Independent.

There is no politician on either side of the aisle that would look to see if they could present a bill limiting the age of a President to either the House or the Senate.

Pretty sure that in order to limit the eligibility for Congress or POTUS you need a constitutional amendment not a simple bill

The purported violation is about antitrust law. It's a complicated matter. While a single company is clearly allowed to choose not to make business with another company, that's not obvious for groups of companies acting in concert.

You guys love antitrust laws so you probably know more about this stuff than I do.
