It seems pretty clear to me that the cat stuff is just JD Vance trying to get revenge for the couch ****er memes by targeting a small group of immigrants.
was listening to npr where they were talking to a group which does fact checking and while trump obviously takes the cake, there were a good half dozen things kamala said which was not true as well
obviously one is an 11 outright making stuff up whereas kamala was just phrasing things to make them appear worse - so he's obviously much worse but without a doubt kamala told several lies herself

the gun ban, the fracking, the state of the economy trump left (claimed it was worst since great depression, it did reach that point due to covid but by the time he left office had rebounded significantly to just a typical economic downturn and her specific phrasing was "when you left office", were the ones i recall offhand and there were some others

The gun ban isn't listed there or in the CNN article (I don't think). Not sure what you think Kamala was lying about. What I remember her saying was that she was a gun owner and wouldn't ban guns. In the past she did say she would ban assault rifles but that's not what she was talking about.
Fracking is open for debate (see below). The economy thing was about unemployment which she got wrong in a couple of ways, kind of like Biden (see below).

i saw that when i was looking for it - i had literally listened to it live in my car about 30 min before posting and that radio bit i listened to was one of them interviewing someone who claimed to be from a non-partisan fact checking group - who i also looked for but the mainstream media dominate the seo there so google showed nothing - they're usually a good day or so on delay from putting their radio stuff in online transcripts (just wild they don't have an on demand library just such a dinosaur organization) so will look again tomorrow
trump clearly had far greater frequency and scope of lies, but there were definitely a bunch of things kamala lied or exaggerated about that you'l find for every candidate in every presidential debate

I am no fan of tariffs, but if the goal of them is to say they are long-term, but in reality they are only on for a year and the goal is to get china to stop stealing intellectual property they seem ok.
I support trump's plan of deportations (depending on how he does it) only if we also have a goal to drastically increase legal immigration.

Funny that Trump got asked a question about child care expenses and once again he started the answer with Ivanka and Marco Rubio and said nothing of any value. Kinda highlights how unserious candidate he is, that even after getting criticized all around for the idiotic NY answer (where he starred with Ivanka and Rubio before rambling about tariffs), he's unable to answer it later when it would take a normal person three minutes to learn some canned answer to it. (Though I understand you'd have to feed it to Trump in a form of a meme about how transgender immigrants are eating our child care for him to remember it five seconds later)

The pause moment should be that Trump is a billionaire celebrity who is fundamentally disconnected from the interests and problems of most Americans.
Kind of like the Thiel and Musk fellows working Trump and Vance like sock puppets
