RIP to probably the best pound-for-pound football player the Cowboys ever had, and easily the most likable. To me he was what football should be about just summarized into a player.

He had a five year stretch where he was about as dominant as a guard can be. Those Cowboy O-lines were stupid good.

RIP. And watching that INT chasedown video will never get old.

That sucks

RIP but I always like Nate Newton the most from those teams

Which aged well with the times after his iconic quote after being arrested with like 85 pounds of the weed

"I couldn't see myself not being the biggest dope man"

I think I like LA most because he reminded me a lot of this big mountain man uncle of mine. Always grinning and super nice unless you gave him a reason not to be.

I was glad to see him get a first-ballot HOF, you never know with lineman. All around to me he was just one of those players where honestly it doesn't matter what team he was on, he could have been a Redskin and I don't think I'd feel differently about him. Like a Jerry Rice or Walter Payton. Lot of great football players but there are some special ones that make football itself great.

Besides all that who doesn't want to see a dude do superhuman strongman **** like he did.
