I'm traveling to KC for work and want to play some poker while I'm there. I'll be there on a Tuesday night. I've searched for this in this forum and based on a thread from September '08 it sounds like Harrah's has the best options all around. Is this still true?
Will I be able to get a limit game (3/6, 4/8, anything like that) on a Tuesday night? Any other thoughts or advice on poker rooms in KC is much appreciated!
Anyone had a chance to play at the new room in Toledo yet who could post a review? What's the rake? How are the dealers? How busy was it? How does it compare to Hollywood Lawrenceburg or the new Horseshoe in Cleveland?
Hey I'm sure there a few Montreal casino regulars around here.
Anyways, there isn't an official thread for us so I figure it might be a good time to start one. It'd be fun to hear some stories, anecdotes, important upcoming tourneys, juiciness of the games, how much the BBJ is at, things you like, things they can improve on etc...

I'm in Ohlaõ, Portugal for a week, and plan to travel to one of the nearby casinos during my stay here. I'm considering Algarve Hotel Casino, and Vilamoura Casino.
The former has way more action, around 3-4 cash tables a night, while the latter struggles to even get a table started. So I guess maybe that makes it an easy choice.
Has anyone been to either of the casinos? I'm having problems finding any info in english. Dress code?

Every big cardroom has their own thread here, so why not one for the big ones in Sacramento. Thunder Valley is the home of the 5/10 on the wknds, and I am almost positive the 5/10 moved from Casino Royale to Capitol Casino. Plan on playing some there this week, will deliver trip report.
As a poker enthusiast who is from Auckland I wanted to start a thread specific to the Sky City Auckland Poker Room. My intention is to have a specific thread where poker players in Auckland can express their opinions about what they like or dislike or what they would like to see more or less of in this poker room. I'm hoping that contributors can be constructive with their ideas or opinions and preferably not just
I'm in town for 30-60 days staying in northeast Indianapolis. What are my best options for low-limit NL or structured hold'em? Most of what I've found poking around are quite a drive from my location. I'm looking for something within a 45 minute drive. TIA.
Heading to Punta Cana in the Dominican in April. I've done a bit of research, and I think the only game is at the casino in the Riu Royal Macao casino. Has anyone played there? If so, what was your experience like?

I'm curious as to if anyone has any information or if it's even a thing these days to have "Poker Houses", meaning, a home dedicated to house serious poker players looking to feed off of one another motivation and study/work ethic.
Being the only one of my family or friends that takes this sport/game seri
I have visited this venue a few times in 2023 and it is quite unique. It hosts the WSOP Europe every year and has weekly tournaments with 300-500k+ guarantees. It is 2hrs drive from Prague so hiring a car is essential, but it is easy to get there as it is a motorway all the way. The casino has two hotels and there is lots of guest houses close by from €30 a night so very affordable. It costs €10 a day to enter the casino but this €10 goes towar
