I really don't know most of what's happening on this card, but airdropping into WrestleMania cold usually still works out to be a fun time, so I plan to watch quite a bit of this.

Agreed. Cole has become an excellent announcer.
Amazing what happens when you take a geriatric maniac out of his ear and let him do his thing. I think back to the first time that I realized "wait, is he actually good?" was when he called Beast in the East (some random house show they did live from Japan I think?) and Vince wasn't there, and it was actually great.
He was clearly always a solid sports broadcaster with a senile old **** telling him to what to say. I was never a Cole stan per se, but he's always been better than we thought and what he showed during the Ruthless Agression/Pg era.

Finally got around to watching WM weekend. This was one of the better manias in recent years.
HOF: Weak class and odd having the headliner go first, but great speech by Heyman. It was all downhill after that.
NXT: It happened.
WM: Sad to see the lackluster Rhea/Becky match, but I guess they were telling the truth about Becky's strep throat. Would make sense why the match was subpar and put on first. Also gives Becky some kayfabe save face.
I felt just about everything was well booked, though N2 was much better. Would have liked KO winning the US title too (great to see all these titles mean something now), but understand they couldn't switch every title this weekend.
From the reaction when Punk cost McIntyre the title, I thought we might be getting a double turn. Rhea Ripley looks amazing without the goth makeup. She's going to be main eventing next year. With who though? Charlotte again? Jade? Bianca?
Michael Cole instantly improved about 50% when the crazy old man left.
It's funny, I don't see any difference in the way Cody presents himself in AEW and WWE, but the latter seems much better. It feels like he's a star here, where it just felt like he was trying to be bigger than the company in AEW.
Fun spotfest, but would have been insane if Dustin showed up. Poor Seth. Not getting enough credit for his sacrifices, but I feel he's nicely rebuilt himself after being ruined for a few years off that Fiend fiasco.
