Being a law dog for him would be tilting

birdman needs a new undertitle

To be honest I’m not really sure what the point of any this or where you are going with it. I think you completely misunderstand a lot of fundamental aspects of these topics and completely disagree with your conclusions but it’s hard to engage since I don’t even really understand what you are saying

lol

Actually this should be my under title

one of my political tweets got 13.5k views. most of my tweets get 20 views

Will you remember us now that you're famous?

this is filthy's secretary posting for him cuz he's too busy and rich. he says he'll probably remember you

congratulations filthy

lol thanks birdman

btw, i was witching the lastest spiderman movie on netflix, and one of the heroes is an anarchist who flat out says capitalism is awful. and he encourages spiderman to revolt... and spiderman does revolt!

Thank you comrade filhy, redistribution of your wealth will greatly ease the suffering of the people.

On a completely unrelated note, OH NOES DENNIS QUAID SAYS WE ALL GOIN DI...

Okay, fine, just 90% of the global population.

And here we thought it was just Randy 🙄

I really like the name Santiago

Quaid to a Black Swan type event with a solar storm when we already know that just like a light dusting of snow will obliterate the Texas power grid

I really like the name Santiago

me too!

thanks guys! i like the name santiago too. it was my great grandfather's name. but i don't like the name for myself because i didn't like who i was as a person when i went by that name.

also it's really unpleasant when people mispronounce it, which they almost always do unless they are a native spanish speaker.

How do you mispronounce Santiago? (I'm assuming it's said the same way as the Chilean city, if not I'd be mispronouncing it too)

you gotta say first syllable "saw", not short a like "sand"

also tongue gotta hit top of the mouth, and back of top teeth on the T, for a tiny "th" sound

a surprising number of people say it like santa cluase, like sant tea eggo

I'd probably not do the T perfectly, but I'd say the A correctly enough to hopefully not annoy you. I can imagine how Sant Tea Eggo would be unpleasant.

it's weird cuz generally i love accents. i love when people pronounce words differently, and speak differently. but idk.. something about your name seems different. like "no that's not my name. you're not saying what i told you my name is. you're saying a different word"

also i think it would bother me less if the dominant culture pronounced my name right, and it was just rarely mispronounced.

another weird thing about that is "san francisco" is totally butchered by american english speakers, but that mispronunciation seems like the right way to say san francisco, because that's the way i've always heard it.

yeah really rare for english speakers to say the t right. it's just the a that is annoying. but when the t is right, it's nice to my ear. cuz really only my grandmother said it that way to me. and it was her dad i was named after.

the yahi tribe from so called northern california... in their culture it was insane to tell someone your name unless you knew them really well. names are powerful. and intimate. and you don't just go around telling anyone your name!

i often felt that way a little when meeting strangers.

The t thing is real. In international phonetics, the Spanish t and the English t are different symbols bc they’re formed differently in the mouth- the English t is formed by the tongue touching the hard palette and the Spanish t is formed by the tongue touching the teeth, with different aspirations. This was a super interesting tangent we went on in conservatory… Anyway, filthy I can pronounce your name correctly

Almost as interesting as the ach-laut and ich-laut discussion! AMA!

Me and the guys are going to do some Religion this weekend.

My parents are going to be out of town, and Barry's older sister is bringing over some righteous 13th century texts - she's got a card to this crazy library...

Gerald can't come, though. Last time he got us busted by the neighbors because he thought praying outside would be more spiritual.

The goal of Buddhism is to end the suffering of all sentient beings. You can disagree with their methods but the goals are definitely the same. The communists just aren't quite shooting high enough.

They do believe that egoistic life is so inherently laden with suffering that they seek to end the cycles of individual existence.

But how are they like Buddhists exactly?

there's no chance you didn't already know that was filthy's name
