A valid strategy for getting ripped imo.

Welcome to the forum. Just go to my blog, and lose 15 of them!
So with the Cass report out are we all laughing at the folks who were advocating for giving kids sterilization drugs and making fake peepees and vagines?
Or is the UK joining Sweden/Finland as bastions of anti-trans?
This guy's troll game might be even stronger than his iron game.
I've witnessed a veritable epidemic of chest supported curls at my gyms recently.
Given these are standard gen pop gym bros and not advanced BBers looking for any edge, it seems like pure FPS to be investing bicep sets in this vs standard barbell, preacher or hammer curls?
or am i missing something?
worth it. preachers can irritate bicep tendons on either side, hammers don't target the peak at all, standard barbell has way too much forearm. Normal easy also good but a lot of people end up cheating too much so do chest supported instead. Even if you're a regular guy not an advanced bodybuilder, having a flat non peaky bicep doesn't look as good as having a peakier one.
Plus a lot of those gen pop gym bros possibly do want to compete and think they'll be Chris Bumstead 5 years after they start 400mg/wk test e.
Public service announcement:
Never fly British Airways.
They overbooked my flight on a transatlantic job; and claimed I didn't have a seat. Eventually they found one; but I had to downgrade from the front to the cattle seats. I should get some monies back; but as a rich old I would have preferred comfort and no stress.
weird for them to overbook bus class. you should get all your monies back tbh - what profile do you have with BA?
also, did they offer you alternative/later flights in biz instead?
There is only one flight a day. They offered me a business class flight the next day. But I wanted to get back on time.
I did once get up to Gold tier. I currently have no tier; I haven't flown with them for years. And now I never will again.
I called today to get the money back. They said they had no record of the downgrade, and seemed unwilling to commit to paying me anything. I hear 5 working days.
I am thinking how rich would I have to be to fly 1st class? I am thinking 100 mill plus net worth.
I just got off my southwest flight. The seat is massive for a 5'10 160 lb guy. And I just passed out the whole time.
Even Spirit middle seat ain't that bad. Middle seat for 5+ hours? OK, I am not that poor bro.
It was a 14 hour flight, and flight 2 of 3 in total on that bit of the trip. So business class seemed like a good idea to me. (I also took my drysuit, so had 2 hold bags.)
I agree with you about first class; it didn't exist on this for some reason; business was the maximum class possible.
I'm 5'10 and 140 pounds, and the economy seat wasn't terrible. But it's a lot easier to sleep in one that goes flat.
Big difference between 5 hour flight and 12 hour one and then multiple ones eg Aus to Europe or w/e. I would never fly bus class within Aus and NZ
Also difference in what you need to do on arrival. I pay for bus class if I’m travelling for work to London or the US and I need to be productive when I arrive. I literally do not sleep in economy - just a bad sleeper I guess.
But i won’t pay if eg I’m heading to Vegas for wsop or somewhere else for a vacation and I can simply sleep off the jet lag and lack of sleep at the other end.
Also, having your own small business like I do means it only costs me 52% of sticker price ultimately
The other added benefit is you actually look forward to the flight as opposed to dreading it.
If you're not flying private at 100 mill, you're doing it wrong.
You can't take it with you.
It is probably better to own your own jet at this wealth range. People are generally bad at math and just make up numbers, but if you have the ability to make 100m you can prob do better than a ~5% real return which would be ~5m to live on each year (with likely high vol). Once you drop 2-5m on a house, and another 1m on cars... You kinda choose your own adventure on what matters to you. Wanna buy a yacht? Sure okay. Wanna see the world on private planes? Sure okay. Realistically at 10-20m+ depending on where you live is where you hit escape velocity if you aren't some extremely weird person who needs a selection of 100k+ watches or your wife doesn't need the full selection of Birkins.
Then again I have a friend who literally wants to buy a castle, so he needs like 50m + 2-3m a year to upkeep just for that.
Can we all agree that Eurobiz is a scam you should never pay up for tho?
I'm not up on the proper terminology for this sort of thing, but I was including owning your own jet under the umbrella of private.
Did my log get archived or something?
kc forum legend back. If we get him off low rep barbell lifting and onto the side of light then this is the H+F renassaince (periodization).
Recommend me some programs. Just doing the Bridge for a few weeks to get used to lifting and get a little strength back.
I'm not quite as weak as I expected already.
Renaissance periodization upper/lower or push/pull/legs 3 or 4x/wk.
Summary: Mostly dbs, machine, bw, sets of 8-30 on most things with "reverse pyramid of reps" where you take a weight then do something like 15 reps with 1-3 reps in reserve, then do another set at the same weight with 1-3 reps in reserve, then a 3rd set with 1-3 reps in reserve. Something like SLDL: 185lbsx15, 12, 10 with approx 2-5 minutes rest
Approximately 10-25 sets per week per bodypart, but individual sessions shouldn't have more than maybe 4-12 sets for a particular bodypart. Less sets if you're using higher reps.
Check the Renaissance periodization youtube channel for examples.
diet: high carb, moderate protein (1g/lb is more than enough), lower fats. If you're a pescatarian should be easy, but even as full on vegetarian not that difficult as long as you've got stuff like tofu, paneer, egg whites, cottage cheese, quark, etc.
Payoffwiz's log is also a good example. I'm enhanced, basline 12k steps per day just from work, tons of different pains and limitations, advanced bb trying to bring up specific weak bodyparts, and limited equipment due to living in China so looking at my log isn't a good example.
Check out the mustache on this ****ing guy. I'm only an 65 minutes into this podcast but it is a very interesting conversation.
I weigh less now than at any time since age 28 (138 pounds, BMI 20.5).
The secret? A week of explosive diarrhea. (I seem to be OK now.)
Skinny? Bulk!
Need to watch the 73 replay, but what in the ****ing ****?
The judging for pressouts has been horrific. It seems like they are just giving it based on how much the crowd is cheering. The Moldovan guy got absolutely robbed.
They should just get rid of pressouts. If someone uses inferior technique to get the bar overhead, who cares? We also miss out on some epic fights with pressouts.
Eurosport has gotten rid of the British woman, which is probably why they are barely showing WLing.
I appreciate her stance against pressouts, while I'm not a purist of her level, **** them pressouts.
Have you ever seen the footage of the Snatch event at the 09 CrossFit games? ‘Get to overhead in one movement’almost the only guideline. It’s some of the ugliest,
Most unsafe stuff you’ll ever see.’
My boy Commando Steve Willis gets a legal lift despite going to one knee to catch the weight and the press outs are truly remarkable
