2024 MYSTERY MILLIONS Bounty WSOP Event #5

This year also like previous year ,one of the most exiting event will be with 4 starting day 1Flights.

THURSDAY-MAY 30 Day 1A
FRIDAY – MAY 31, Day 1 B
SATURDAY-JUNE 1 Day1C
SUNDAY-JUNE 2. Day 1D

After Missing Last year's tournament I will be glad to paly Flight 1 D.

Last year they had 18188 runners in 4 starting flight. Everyone making day 2 are a bounty . There were 1006 bounties. $1000 to $1000000.

Based on last year popularity ,I think They will have similar numbers of players or More.

Anyone here will be playing this Tournament ?

Thinking about playing this event and I always get confused when it comes to the different lines. If I go the route of registering through Bravo, do I get to just cruise in around start time and will be seated right away or should I still expect to be standing in a line waiting for a seat? Last year for the $777, I tried to register the night before but they were closed. Then the next morning, I tried to register at around 7AM and was stuck waiting a couple hours just to pay and then stuck for much longer waiting for a seat. Just wondering if the Bravo route woudl still land me in the second "waiting for a seat" line? Thanks for any help!

The registration is open 24 hours. Never closes !!!

I'm definitely not an expert but I swear last year, on the last flight of the lucky 7s tourney, they would NOT let us register! I was shocked too becuase like you said, I always thought you could sneak in late night with minimal lines. The sign on the cage last year said that you could not register for that flight until like 8AM the morning of the flight. The rumor was that they sold so many seats for it ahead of time that this was the solution? IDK, I'm hoping that was just an unlucky and unusual circumstance

$777 event was at the end of the WSOP cycle. The event had over 7000 participants. There must be logistical problem with the availability of that many dealers at that time. It’s possible they might have closed the flight because they don’t want to deal with chaos of standby and angry crowd.

The Mystery Million Bounty is slated for first week of WSOP.
But popularity of bounty tournament may bring record crowd.

In order to avoid long wait , I will register early on BravoLive or whichever system they are using this year.

Why isn’t there much more advertisement towards this App? It should be in WSOP‘s biggest interest that as many players as people use it to avoid the lines.

Or is it already like this and I just don’t see it? Couldn’t be easier leave your credit card details and get a seat via online registration.

I am using BravoLive for last 3 years . Very convenient to register and print out seat card at kiosk everywhere in the WSOP lobby.

It is clearly announced during initial WSOP announcement.

I played flight D last time. I did see long lines of people standing, waiting for seats to open. My memory is sketchy on exactly what time of day I saw those lines forming.

That was the one that had lines all the way into Horseshoe, right?

I'm guessing their POS software was the culprit. It releases only a certain number of seats at a time. Maybe 20, maybe 50, maybe a hundred. After those seats are used up they have to get a system admin or somebody to release the next batch. It sounds like the last batch got sold, and the guy they call went home.

World class and professional, eh?

My recollection is that this was for the Mini Main on day 2
of the Colossus. Total nightmare.

Oh that's right, it was late in the Series.

If the Daily Deepstacks and megas are held over at the Versailles tower, it will be a pain schlepping over just to check on the status of things. The main cage never knew what was going on with those when they were just over at the Horseshoe. If you ask if the new hallway to Versailles will be done in time for the Series. they'll say yes. But then they'll say probably not.

It will be a pain going back and forth. Maybe I'll rent me a scooter.

No, it was definitely for Day 1C of the 7s. Went to register late, lady at registration and I had a standoff about I'm trying to register, she said "ain't no seats". I said I understand, I'm registering late, I pay, and wait in late reg line. Lady "ain't no seats". Finally she clarified the POS had no available seats, so no one could sell registrations, but just stand and wait and they should release seats in bunches.
Problem was, Main event was going on, and all the tables/dealers were locked up. They started moving main tables over to Horseshoe, but bc the event was 7 handed, each table opening was only for 7 players, not 10.
Finally got registered, and yeah, to the back of the line I went, I was on the ramp out of Horseshoe, past the Guy Fieris restaurant.
Was thinking it would take 2 hours minimum to get through the line, bit surprisingly it only took about an hour, as they kept moving Main Event tables to Horseshoe. Unfortunately, I was in line longer than in the tourney.
Looking forward to entering Day 1C of Mystery Millions

Good Luck with Mystery Million. I will be reaching Las Vegas around 5 PM on June 1st , so only option for me is Day 1D on May 2nd.

Any idea when online registration will open ? And will it be through BravoLive like previous year ? As I heard WSOP will be changing to some other Apps for Pre- registration.

Thanks! Last year was my first time out for the WSOP, and I have Diamond so I just registered in person and get a much shorter reg line, didn't try any of the online/pre-registration options. Plus, I'm so cursed in like the first 3 levels of tourneys, I prefer to late register to skip over those. Also, makes for a long grind starting at 10am, wrapping up (ideally) just after midnight. Made Day2 of event #81, and felt like a quick turnaround too, bagging around 12:30am, some adrenaline running, and then restart at 10am.

Last year BravoPokerLive WSOP registrations opened April 13th. It is April 28th and they still haven't opened so they are more than two weeks later than last year and counting. I wonder why. Anyone have a theory? I think I saw that someone said early May so maybe this coming week?

Did anyone tried to calculate “S” point for Mystery Million?

I am not too good at using the calculator.

I came up with “73” !

As there were bounty involved, I just calculated on regular buy-in $700 ( $1000-$300 for bounty)

My logic was bounty comes in play on day 2 and we play 22 levels on day 1. ( Mile stone level to calculate 100% Minute is level 18.)

The buy-in and vig don’t play any role in the s-point calculation:

Level 6 orbit cost: 2000
Level 10 orbit cost: 5000
Level 14 orbit cost: 13000
Level 18 orbit cost: 30000

100% minutes: 40k starting stack, so level 19 = 19*30 = 570.

S-points = 77

Certainly nothing spectacular for a $1000 event, but it is what it is. Mega-field WSOP events aren’t going to have awesome structure.

Thx I calculated 100% on level 18 . My bad .

Thx for help

Yes, I am registered for flight 1D. Planning on firing one bullet. Driving up the day before from the Phoenix area. Nice road trip through the hot hot desert. Tires don't fail me now.
