Light turnouts so far. Can you reg there in the room as well as at the main cage?
Do you think 18,400 entries for the Mystery Millions is a light turnout?
Pretty sure it was in reference to the daily’s.
Yes dedicated cage over there for the satellites/deep stacks. No diamond line though.
The change in location has been a bad decision. Less people see the daily running and decide to register in the moment, and it doesn't have the same feeling as being in one of the big ballrooms. Especially when the horseshoe ballroom had been mostly empty on weekdays, they should have kept the daily's there.
The 1pm deepstacks have been crazy past few days. 1000 entries or so. It just depends on the 10am events.
They never have had a Diamond line for those. They used to not do DD reg at the main cage, they made you go to the Deepstack cage. It would be nice if you could reg at the main cage.
It wasn't that many years ago they had over 2000 players. I remember playing in one with over 2100 players.
Friend played yesterday's $800 Daily Deepstacks, over 4000 people (1M+ prize pool), and made day two....
These numbers will only increase over the weekend.
That was a bracelet event, not a daily deepstack tournament. The daily deepstacks are the $250/400/200 that run at the same time every day.
I stand corrected, makes it even more impressive for him lol
For sure. Those 30 minute bracelet events are some of the toughest events at the entire WSOP to bag in terms of % of field! I think the WSOP is gaslighting their customers by calling them "deep stacks" when they are glorified dailies with a second day tacked on because the fields are so huge.
Nothing deep about those tournaments after the first couple hours.
Yup, if you don't get lucky early and build a stack, you're in for a rough time around 10 pm.
About what time has 4:00pm tournaments been finishing this year?
