prison, justice, our penal system is obv hugely problematic and complex.

sounds like this woman, and her case, that I never heard of are also problematic. sounds like she's a fine, nice, good woman, who made a terrible choice, a terrible mistake. but the problem is balancing justice with what she did, and who she is, and preventing people from doing these things in the future.

but it's like the problems she is bringing up with our system are really trivial problems compared to the real problems of our sytem

The problem is that if you look at things from the other side, it's a mirror image. If you spend time on twitter you'll constantly read conservative types calling people and positions "far-left" that really aren't.

I'm down for a drug test on both candidates, but my hot take is that I don't really care what either would show. If they say or do something I disagree with, what's the difference if they are on adderall, cocaine, milk of the poppy, vanilla ice cream...
