This is close to a worst case scenario for the Biden camp. Biden is coming across as ancient. Trump seems comparatively alert and vigorous. Trump is getting more unhinged now, but he did better in the first 15 minutes than I've ever seen him do in previous debates.
Trump is lying outrageously, of course, but the combination of the format and Biden's age is making it relatively easy for him to get away with it.

Lying is basically Trump's brand. If he ever told the truth, that'd be pretty outrageous. For some reason this seems to endear him to US conservatives, who seem to prefer to live in a world of "alternative facts" so much that they invented an oxymoronic euphemism for it.

And it's true that 7 states allow NO QUESTION ASKED ABORTION TILL THE DAY OF BIRTH, and Biden lied outrageously denying that. He said it was between the mother and the state. it isn't in the 7 blue states. They can kill the baby at will, at 9 months of pregnancy, which is something the vast majority of people feel is horrifying. Morally monstrous, proof you aren't a decent person if you allow that.
