Who Shot dJRt

No. I have no idea.
Do you think Trump is still alive?
I'm not a doctor.
That much is certainly indisputable.
Man ...Trump now has his own "Iwo Jima photo"... Good luck to Biden after this episode...
They're not trying to kill me. They're trying to kill you. My ear is just in their way!
I assume that this isn't a serious question, but if it is:
--Further normalization of political violence
--Red meat to conspiracy theorists of all stripes, which further erodes confidence in objective reality.
--Feeds the MAGA delusion that Trump is some sort of vigorous, tough guy and generally helps Trump politically.
--Random people dead.
That's just off the top of my head.
So basically MAGA clowns are going to go ahead and do all the **** they've already been doing since 2016.
Ya if you read that Tim McMillan post above seems more likely it was a local law enforcement failure than a secret service failure. But obviously need more post mortem.
To me, I think SS should still be responsible overall.
I saw an overhead shot of the area and the building he was on top was anywhere from 130 to 180 yards away. Trump receives similar security detail to Biden . How a shooter gets on that building and even fires a shot is baffling. This has to be a failure on the secret service .
Reports had folks reporting the guy with a gun also
Ya I agree. Read that post though. It's insightful. Still ridiculous those roofs aren't just covered right from the start.
These people are usually just nuts.
Trump seems like a magnet to crazy people. I've known a few. Crazy as in, "the President is sending coded messages to me in his speeches" crazy.
So that would be my bet.
Speaking of which, PlayBig's not been around for a couple of days. Just saying.
are you saying PlayBig = Crooks?
interesting theory
I'm just saying I've never seen them in the same room before, no more and no less than that.
My first thought was that he bladed (cut himself intentionally) while down and covered like a pro wrestler. A shot actually just grazing his ear seemed far fetched.
If it had been staged at all, he would have certainly kept his high heels on.
Also keep in mind, Trump has some background connections to pro wrestling.
Not saying I actually think that happened, but if it was a shooting where they didn't find the shooter and nobody else had been hit, it would've actually been an easy thing to stage. A bunch of gunshot sounds, Trump goes down and gets cut up intentionally, then comes up for the glory fist waving shot.
How bad of a shooter does this guy have to be to miss this many shots? Or, how good would he have needed to be to hot his target from that distance. I've only shot guns twice in my life, 100+ yards away I imagine is quite hard.
good thoughts, i was kind of leaning in that direction where it sort of felt like an "opportunity knocking" situation as he only lived 40 miles away but hadn't really fleshed it out
I'm really surprised more posters haven't jumped on the opportunity to talk the SS working for Trump 😀
chatgpt agrees and also says I'm an elite poker player in addition to my masterful contributions to news and politics
if the reports about the location are accurate, it would have been a reasonably easy shot for someone with experience who had the time to properly setup for it
having said that, adrenaline is a crazy thing, you know that scene in pulp fiction where he unloads the clip point blank and misses both guys completely - that happens in real life quite often
gotta be the absolute most tweaked out moment of your life trying to kill a former president, especially nerve wracking as he'd probably have seen the counter snipers and put himself on an artificial timeline of "shoot now or they'll see me and shoot first" kind of situation
idk, just baseless speculation, but i'm a pretty casual gun user and if that were paper target from that distance while i'm lying prone with a rifle i'd be hitting that target 4/5 shots and that feels overly conservative and assuming i'm going in cold right now and without some warming up at a range in the prior days - so my theory is adrenaline took over and made him bungle it
if he had time to properly set up, that's an easy hit. the world record snipe kill is like 3500 metres
I mean, everyone's an armchair sniper these days. Where were you ****ers when he was training?
I was in the infantry for 12 years. It's not even sniping. It's a 150m shot which is basic training level stuff.
Unless this kid was an expert, it would be very difficult to get a hit. Completely ignoring the assumption that he was probably rushing through all of this, you still need to stabilize the rifle with something else than just your arms, and even if he had planted shooting sticks, depending on the scope, moving just a tiny amount one direction can cuase you to lose sight of the person fand have to re align. If he just climbed up there, and aimed in a rush, he needs to get pretty damn lucky to hit something.
