The fact people are looking at voter registration or $15 donations as proof of political leaning or bias is indicative of the mindless partisanship in politics today. He tried to kill Trump - that's the only proof you need of what his motivations are. Reminds of the scene from Mars Attacks when the Martians shouted "don't run, we are your friends" while vaporizing every human in sight.

now, I got no problems with burdztheword, but I am gonna need a little bit more than one of his posts with a vague citation that isnt easily confirmed (I even went to opensecrets.org and did a search).

You never know, he could have been pissed off with Trump from the right. "Didn't subjugate minorities enough, let jews replace us, didn't get me laid" sort of thing. Not saying there is any evidence he was, but best to have all the facts before drawing conclusions.

I am also hoping for further confirmation, but I found it safe to assume that he wasn't just making that up.

I don't doubt there are many Republicans who would be happy to see Trump removed from the picture.
Including nearly all Republican senators who were in office prior to 2016.

If he gets re-elected he's Commander in Chief, no? I wouldn't be shocked if he gave himself a purple heart for something that happened when he was a civilian.

Wouldn't shock me either but I'm not aware of anyone that has joined the military and got a purple heart for a previous civilian injury

Hi friends, so I’ve deleted several posts from the thread. Going forward, I’d like to remind everyone that glorifying violence is against the rules of this forum, and that does include violence against Trump, regardless of where you stand politically. It’s not acceptable to post things along the lines of wishing he’d been killed or similar sentiments etc. Please keep that in mind as further posts of that nature will be deleted and repeat offenders will be subject to escalating moderation.
