People people people
Isn't that the point? One of two people will become President. Ofc people should be voting for the one they think is objectively better.
that's not democracy. not even close
What's the filthy definition of democracy
King Filthy! obv
govt by the people, for the people
no bribes. no collusion
one person one vote. not Wyoming votes are worth more than CA votes.
same with representation in senate and Congress. 2 senators from Wyoming, and 2 senators from CA is absurd
I agree, but it's what we've got unfortunately. I'm not arguing that this is a democracy, it's not. I used to say things like raging against the system with words and not actions is just a hollow cry. But, yeah I don't think we the people have much leverage in fixing this until a movement to abolish the electoral college and institute ranked choice voting (among other things) gains mass appeal.
One thing I think we can all agree on...**** Wyoming
i've never been to Wyoming, but it seems to be miraculously beautiful
Wyoming, it's not the people
We are a federation of mini-republics creating a super-republic.
Do you see a role for the states as autonomous entities in their own right, as opposed to being merely administrative districts?
Dems could take over the whole country with a little subsidized population relocation from mega-majority metro areas to low-population rural states where an additional 10,000 people can make a big difference.
it would be pretty hilarious if ny and ca moved 10 million voters into low population states and flipped like 15 states
Make America California Again?
Honestly, with remote work being what it is, and cost of living being what it is, we may see this shift naturally to some extent
Trump was in my city to today to speak. I'm glad he's now on his way somewhere else. For some reason he loves coming to the only blue city in a sea of red to stir up our residents. Was gross seeing so much hate on our otherwise peaceful, friendly streets.
Uh, that's been underway for years. And you need to add IL to the list of exporters.
California, New York, New Mexico, Illinois and Massachusetts are the top 5 right now.
And people are moving to Florida (this one has always been high), Texas, North Carolina, Arizona, South Carolina.
Really excited to possibly see my state reject Trump this year. Gonna be close, but the influx of people from other states seems to be helping with that!
I think Texas already has the numbers, just needs people to register and vote
If Kamala announces any more economic proposals as stupid as today's batch I guess I'll have to hope that the Republicans take both the House and Senate, just to prevent them from happening.
That's my situation in California. Democrats control everything. It's working great! 🙄
Kambala
isn't ca one of the best places in the world to live?
haven't you made boat loads of money living in CA?
Nice climate
Come on down to NC, where the GOP has a super majority! And is dead last in workers rights...
That may be a real selling point for rich folk, tho
Does Trump plan to talk about policy ever?
Sure! It's FANTASTIC, BEST EVER, UNBELIEVEABLY GREAT.
