How can you get a house edge on the side bets? I'm assuming you're talking about blackjack poker hands and maybe like match the dealer?
The odds are already garbage, but I guess if the count is high or low you're more likely to match? But I mean that seems like a tough sell to me.

Idk the details of blackjack side bets specifically. But any bet that is affected by card removal is countable. It doesn't mean they can actually be beaten but it's countable. The side bets on ex bacc and dai bacc are countable and beatable but +EV situations are rare enough that it's not really a concern for the casino and imo not worth doing
yeah there was one casino that has a "make 20 with first two cards" sidebet that is pretty easy to naturally calculate the ev of depending on the count - can also track queens as well for a bonus since they pay out more
it rarely became +EV though, only bet it like once every 2-3 shoes
But the claim that Casino won't ban you for playing a winning game is pretty ridiculous.
APs get nasty back offs/trespassed every day of the week just for legally playing a winning game.
Mikki clearly isn't any of those things unless he was smashing the Bac side bets.

He did say you get backed off for winning, just not officially booted. Most of the people I've heard about actually getting kicked out and/or banned were suspected advantage players, which is different than just winning. I'd assume Dana White is treated a hell of a lot better than most that walk into a casino though, so his views are likely skewed from what the reality is for us common folk.
Dana is banned from counting at most casinos. He is friends with the owners of Red rock and brings in whales like stevewilldoit so i guess they give him a pass.
on stream at least dana was not counting - he had a 1x-2x spread and quite often the times he moved up to 2x was when the count was negative

you mostly got it, but you missed the main point being that casinos do anything to try to distract high rollers from winning.
in summary: casinos = bad, mikki = rich.

it wouldn't make sense to make that up because it's so stupid and weak - the entire "casinos will try to throw you off your a game by asking if you got your valet ticket for your car" just doesn't make any sense
i think most likely what happened is that he dropped off a nicer than usual car at valet, someone immediately notified a host who then frantically tried to make sure they could do everything to keep him happy, they ask if valet went fine and reminded him to hold onto the ticket (because he looks like someone who'd forget about it and leave it behind when he goes to shoot up in the bathroom) and then in his drug addled mind his paranoia takes over and he sees it for something else entirely
