I don't know if they are monsters, but I do certainly agree on the art. It's already choking human art online to a worrying degree.
.

In what way are you referencing?

I remember when NFTs got hot, the natural evolution of it was going to be that they would end up saturating the market with so much more artwork that the available money out there to buy them just dissipates due to so many options that would end up crashing prices. But I didn't expect nft enthusiasts at that time who held the art as an investment to think that that would had been a good idea.

this is true for all art - overwhelming majority of stuff purchased for large amounts at galleries has no resale value unless the artist became famous after your purchase (happens to maybe 1 in a 1 billion works of art)

and like art if you bought the right nft you definitely made a lot of money on it

it's actually really interesting because when nfts got really big in the news and there were lots of reports on how it was basically a lottery but one that was unfair because it was all run by insiders then a bunch of people in the art industry stood up and said "yes this is no different from regular art"

most artists who go on to famous are those who are chosen by select group of insiders

furthermore, it's very common for collectors to bid on all art owned by artists they collect to ensure a floor price, either they get it and add to the collection or someone else pays a price they believe is justified

one collector does this with warhol, he owns over 90% of his work, once he dies, unless someone else takes up the mantle, we're going to see warhol prices plummet, even if his children don't sell the collection because there won't be a minimum floor price set by him anymore

My personal view is that she probably went from more progressive to more moderate, like Sinema did. That is by far the most common move in American politics, to go from super progressive to normal moderate.

Sinema went from Green Party to one of the 2 most conservative Dems in congress. That's not very common.

It's harder to search for and find. Search engines and digital art sites get flooded with AI art, mass produced at a scale and volume that makes it drown out the human-produced stuff. I notice mainly because I browse and collect a fair bit of digital art in the form of images that I use as inspiration for writing stories and music.

We're still very early into AI-technology, so it is natural to assume that this is a development that will only accelerate.

We're not there yet, but an old internet conspiracy theory seems to slowly become reality, namely the "dead internet theory". For political discourse on the most popular social media sites, I suspect this old classic is now eerily close to the truth, at least for the more superficial discussion and browsing.

What is your point, or the point of this video? It's an out-of-context clip from a talk Harris gave at Google. But any reasonably intelligent person watching even this clip should understand that she's saying something along the lines of "with great power comes great responsibility."

I did the homework for you. The clip you posted ends at 50:54. And then Harris continues, "It's an incredible amount of power. And you wanna make sure that the people who have this kind of power are taking seriously the responsibility in terms of understanding as much as anything the impact on the people who would be affected by that." OMG SHE'S A POWER HUNGRY MONSTER!!!!

I've warned everyone to not vote for CDU in Germany, when Angela Merkel was going to become Kanzlerin (President).
Noone of my family-members and friends who has voted CDU has listened to me...

She has absolutely destroyed our country with regards to energy and immigration politics, as a far left green party character, disguised in a formerly conservative CDU.

From a few years after 2015 (opened borders) up until a few months ago, 90% of my people stopped voting for CDU, by now. It'll soon be 100%, i think.

Merkel's work of absolutely destroying the country was finished by the current government of the social-democrats and the green party, who not only ruined energy supplies and still import +80% illegal young uneducated males from countries who are culturally way behind (but we can go on vacation there), but also throw away hundreds of millions for bike-ways in Peru, hundreds of millions for refrigerators in Columbia, and hundreds of millions for trans-people things in several african countries, where women's clits still get cut off... Those belong to the 1.8% who actually legally can come to Germany (politically or sexually "hunted" in their country).

We have 2 Gang rapes and about 10 knife attacks daily, comitted by These young man"fleeing from war n poverty".

I could list a few dozen more examples, If you'd want to hear them...

There are reasons why hardly any women work, for example, in oil-drilling businesses.
There are reasons why women need their own sports.
There are reasons why women dont dominate chess and poker.
And there are reasons why a woman shouldnt be the most powerfull person of a country, let alone the currently still most powerfull country of the world. (Rest assured, China will overtake you way before 2043 economically. 2043 is just when their military will be stronger.)

Ofc, one reason is "role-models" they grew up with... And maybe some of you guys can think of even more reasons why, ha?...

If you are American and love your country, listen to my advice:

Dont vote for a female who is talking nonstop, without saying anything. She will absolutely destroy your country from within!
I've witnessed it first hand myself in Germany. Wake up before it is too late!

2 million illegal immigrants you got this year?
That's peanuts, if KamalaWordSalad will win...

You dont do someone on the deck...

she closed nuclear which was absolutely insane, completely unjustified, psychopatic

She has built off-shore wind-energy parks without installing cables to transport the energy, in the first place...

Wind-energy, if whole Europe would be united using it, putting them absolutely everywhere, would still not be enough for 50% of demand... Storage power plants are simply too bad.

Dont insult my intelligence. That's obvious for anyone with half a brain.
The way she says it, her mimic and gesture, tells you a lot about her.

Of course they did. Who else would have benefited of that?
They'll do anything to stop russians from selling cheap energy to Europe.
Tho, that's just a piss in the wind after all that has happened here...(Just 6 billions we invested there. That's roughly what WE pay china as development-support in three years... Isnt that a bad joke?...sadly not)

270 to Win has seven states as toss ups. If you run all the possible combinations the results are Harris having winning 20 combinations and Trump winning 21 combinations for a near coin flip. The three ties are the real issue for Harris as a tie in the electoral college gets decided by the House of Rep which is currently controlled by the GOP which would pick Trump.

If Trump wins, I think we are getting a pretty good idea of what the map will look like. Most likely scenario would be that he loses Wisconsin, Michigan, and NC, but wins Pennsylvania, Arizona, Nevada, and Georgia. That would be 271-267 for Trump, and is a very possible scenario.

I am open to take a bet at 1:1 odds that whomever wins georgia wins NC

The poster doth protest too much, methinks.

OK, man. She seems to me to be giving a genuine talk about how important it is to exercise prosecutorial power with caution, and I don't see anything about her "mimic" or "gesture" that seems odd. If you're at the point where you're trying to fall back on "mimic" and "gesture" after someone points out the clip is out of context and what Harris saying is perfectly reasonable, you're what we call "reaching" and "rationalizing" after a bad take.

nah, both pre-Trump Republicans and Democrats are susceptible to this as well

I think it's fair to call this kind of thing our standard political discourse.

There is a difference but they are converging. Mentioned elsewhere but my chat full of college educated dems of reasonable intelligence thinks: Barron tortures animals, Trump is having an affair with Laura Loomer, Trump has an iq of 73, etc All based on tweets.

Feels exactly like talking to otherwise intelligent people who thought Obama was Kenyan and Michelle was Trans.

All they do is post hot takes from sm and crap like OMG we got Taylor Swift!!!

Any discussion of reality is a distant memory. For example, to them, the Gaza stuff just isn't happening. They talk pols all day and it's just memes, hot takes and mindless drivel.

It's essentially just endless repetition of "wow maga is dumb and evil, we are smart and good."

Edit. Someone asked for an example before and I never got around to it. This has 93k likes.

Barron tortures animals cuz some random Twitter account said so.
