5/5/10/20/40/80, 6k effective ISO with AA42ds, flop 952 Bdfd spr 3.3

Game is 5/5/10 PLO+NLH round of each. Lots of restraddling has been happening last few rounds in PLO.

Reads on villain from history is that he is a gambly rec and is not scared money. He is here more for the PLO as are most of the recreational players at the table.

Hero is a NLH pro, image with villain is a solid holdem reg or pro, knows I don't play much PLO.

5/5/10/20/40/80, 6k effective. 9 handed, action is call, call, call, SB folds,

$50 ante double board bomb pots 5.2k nut straight on wet board and lots of mediocre other stuff

$50 plo double board home game, 5.2k effective. 8c7c6d5d

Flop $450,

975hhc
T75ddx

9 handed hero X EP, X, X, whale covers $200, whale calls $200 with ~1.5k-2k, pro calls $200 (covers), tight passive fish calls $200, hero calls $200, reg jams 1.2k, 2 whales call, pro calls, fish folds, some folds in between, hero 5k behind. Hero?

We have nut straight on one board but it is quarterable, and we don't have the heart redraw on that board or a highe

Big O flopped top set no low draw, turn top set blocker

8 handed big O. 5/5 with 15 Mississippi button straddle Time rake. Hero is a holdem pro and does not play tons of Big O. Maybe 150-200 hours of live Big O? Villain is a 25-35 year old who seems to play a fair amount of big O. He is from a different city, so not sure what his status is between pro/reg/rec. Not a nit, but not super splashy either.

2,500 effective, villain covers slightly. Button straddles to 15, villain in SB raises to

5/5/10 3 ways as preflop caller 3bet pot T98 2 tone with middle set

V1 is a very splashy rec who has an extremely wide range that limps and then cold calls 3bets. I would guess KJo+, JTo+, lots of suited bad hands. But he usually open raises pocket pairs, AQo+, maybe AJo, ATs, KTs+, etc. 4k stack.

V2 is a pretty good aggressive reg. On the tighter side, but 3bets suited connectors also. 4k stack.

Hero is effective stack with 2,650. Aggressive pro image.

Folds to V1 limps 10 in CO, hero raises 50 on butto

1/2/10 caller in 3bet pot with AJs AQJ22 facing tripple barrel jam

V is an unknown 40-50 year old who just sat with 1,200, hero covers. Presumable rec. This is his first hand.

Game is 1/2 with 10 button straddle with ultimate last action on the button. Action starts UTG, not on small blind. $2 promotional rake + time rake

Hero with AsJs raises to 30, folds to V in CO who raises to 90, folds to hero, hero calls, button straddle folds.

Flop $191 AcQsJh hero checks, v bets 100, hero calls.

Turn $371 AcQsJh2d

Speech play, donk overbet river, exposed card on river, nut straight vs rivered 3 flush

Game is 5/5/25, time rake only. 5 handed.

Villain is a very loose recreational player that plays 4-5 days per weak. Villain is a business owner with a very high disposable income. Bluffy, punty, binky.

Hand history: several sessions ago I showed a bluff where I raised to 3.2k after Villain donked on a and straight flush completing turn for 800 into 1,000. Villain snap folds. Hero shows him AsQh for A high with the nut flush draw and block

A musing: Prop bet against losing poker player, is allowing player to take 50/50 flips -EV?

So a losing poker player has a prop bet with 2 pros. Player has $2,500 in front of them in a 1/3/15/30 NLHE game and they have a bet that if the losing player gets their stack up to $5,000 by the end of their session, they will both pay him $200 each, and if he doesn't, he will pay the $200 each. Also, the idea is that the player will not rebuy if they get stacked.

Unrelated, losing player and I agree to flip for $1,000 (run a dry plo hand

Theoretical before rake and after rake win rate

So this question is not exclusively an online question, but I figure more people here would be familiar with how to think about this question in theory.

I am a live pro and was having this conversation with another live pro. We were trying to figure out the profitability of a highly raked game, in this case 10/25 with 10% rake up the $75. In theory the game would ideally play deeper and always have the $50 straddle on. I believe there is

2/5/10/25 small pair + FD in 3bet pot overbet turn after X,X flop, flush draw bricks on river

Game is 2/5 with a 10 and 25 double straddle. 8 handed. Time rake except for $2 promotional rake.

Villain is a recreational who is not scared money. Have seen him call down light when flush bricks out, like after hitting bottom pair with his flush draw on a paired board and losing to trips. Hand history, hero just open raised to 65 with AKo, got 3bet to 265 by V, hero 4bets to 1,100, flop 942r, hero bets 700, villains calls, turn 9742cc,

1/3/10, AK on KQQ facing a donk and turn shove from overcaller

Game is 1/3 with a $10 button straddle (action starts UTG). 9 handed. Time rake.

Villain is a retired rec. Loose and stationy. Have seen him bluff sometimes, but primarily using small sizing. Villain is effective stack with $755. Villain does a fair amount of call-call pre. This could be anything from AK to offsuit broadways to suited gappers.

Pro in UTG+2 raises to $30, villain in LJ calls, a weaker reg in HJ calls, hero 3bets to $145

2/5/10 bluff catching top set facing river donk jam when flush gets there

Game is 2/5 with a 10 optional button straddle, ultimate last action on button, action starts UTG. Time rake except for $2 promotional raffle.

Villain is $1,325 effective. Villain is a 40s rec. Seen bet thick value and bluffs for around pot on river. Seen him bluff missed open enders when flush gets there holding 1 relevent suit blocker, but haven't seen him donk shove.

Hero button straddles $10 folds to V in BB who raises to $40, hero ma

Bluff catching river with trips?

2/5 time rake except for $2 promotional drop. $1,210 effective.

V is a rec but doesn't seem terrible. Seen him overbet bluff combo draws, bet thick for value, haven't seen him open limp. Hero covers.

Hero image is tight aggressive/professional.

7 handed, v UTG bets $20, his standard open. Hero calls in BB with 8d5d

Flop $40 8h8c4h, hero X, v bets $20, hero raises $70, villain calls

Turn $180 8h8c4h7d hero bets $225, v calls.

River $630 8h8c4

2/5/10 2,500 effective with AKo in LJ vs 3b and cold 4

Game is 2/5 with time rake except for a $2 promotional drop. There is a $10 button straddle that gets ultimate last action no matter what.

V1 is a recreational player in 60s, maybe early 70s. He is fairly loose with his open raises, open limps, cold calls, limp-calls, overcalls. Has not 3bet very much. Hero's image should be fairly tight. 1,300 stack which he ran up from a few hundred after getting felted earlier and then offering someo

Preflop solved ranges for 9 max no rake, double straddles, button straddles, 3x, 4x?

I play in full time in Texas where rake is time based. My main game is a 5/5 that typically straddles to 10 and often restraddles to 20, sometimes more. There are 4 other pros who are regulars at this game, though they aren't always present, a handful of recreational players, a few occasional good regs, and on occasion other pros who don't play this particular game as often. Open raises are between 2.5 to 4x, most frequently 3x is the si
