2024 Fantasy Football Thread

Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of January. Through 95 drafts, my exposures are below. The player order is based on current ADP. Some of these ADPs have been quite fluid over the last 3 months, with FAs and rookies moving the most. Most of my exposures are structurally driven, rather than player take driven. Especially at this point in the game, pre-draft.

But there are some players I simply couldn't avoid going heavy on, like McBride and Andrews in the 5th round. I'm actually quite heavy all of the top TEs, minus LaPorta and Kincaid. I also tried to make sure I had at least 1 TE by the end of round 8, with Ferguson being the last of the group.

Also took approaches like attacking Nabers and Odunze harder than MHJ, at their relative prices.

What do we like and not like?

Rookie season is also upon us. Redraft is still 3.5 months away from heating up, but there will be rookie drafts, dynasty startups, and best ball drafts leading up until then.

Good luck to all, and may injuries and variance be kind.

I have like 6% Kamara , but only 3% white. I grab both when they fall about a round and I don’t have an issue at cost

I actually really like White at cost, but structurally I take te & qb detours a lot, so it’s hard for me to draft rb in that range

I honestly wish we could trade draft picks . I’d gladly trade a 2nd for like a 3rd and 5th lol

It’s definitely tougher on UD. I built out a fun LV/NO stack from the 1.12 earlier, where Kamara fell to 85. Bal/Hou the other big bet.

Lamar, Carr

Mixon, Kamara, Spears, Lloyd, Wright, Tracy

Olave, Adams, Tank, Worthy, Doubs, Bateman, Tez

Bowers, Muth, Jonnu

Probably need an 8th WR instead of Jonnu, but I still dig the bets.

Like this a lot. Agree that either 5rb or 2 te to get up to 8wr would’ve been better

1.0% Kamara

3.8% Kendre.

I better get some Kamara.

Yeah, thought about 5rb, but still think Lloyd and Wright are very fragile so wanted another upside play.

Honestly, I tilted because I was planning to add Likely and he went 1 pick before, so just took Jonnu since I was focused on TE, rather than pivoting to WR.

Probably still could have done with only two TE, either way.

Thankfully I think the community on UD is collectively down on him, so I doubt he steams even on negative Kendre news.

Just seen that you can actually check your exposures in the DK app.

I've only did 35 drafts. Just been entering the small buyin low entry cap drafts , with 4 of the main $20 contest.

At 37% share each my top most drafted are Demario Douglas and Michael Wilson.

Most interesting is I have 23% of Bijan and Gibbs with my next 1st rounder being Lamb at 11%.

Think this had mainly been a factor of having later drafting spots more often

Yeah exposures after 35 drafts are super variable. I’ve done 43 on dk and I have a bunch of 30% guys

Not sure how I feel about this team. My wr depth isn’t great

Qb : Burrow , Caleb

Rb : Jacobs , Aaron Jones , Zamir , Ekeler , Estime

Wr: Chase , Adams , DJM, Jeudy , Mooney , Michael Wilson , Bateman , Chark , Corley , Slayton

Te : Kincaid , Hock, Parham

Scratch that. Just saw Kamara go at 52.

Went with dimes in the last rd, kinda needed rb, but Shipley went right before me and wasn’t that excited about tank bigsby

Qb - Dak, Tlaw, Dimes

Rb - Monty, Mostert, Dowdle, Wright, Davis

Wr - CD, Aiyuk, Nabers, Kirk, Btjr, Mooney, Boyd, Tolbert (wish I took rb instead)

Te - McBride, Jonnu

This may be the worst team I’ve drafted yet… sniped on every stack qb. Didn’t realize I had every week 5 bye player imaginable. Sniped on nearly every back door stack partner. Sniped on all viable bringbacks. Sniped on every te

Qb - Goff, Herbert, Carr

Rb - Gibbs, Kamara, Pollard, Vidal, Dobbins, Davis

Wr - AJB, DJM, Dell, Hollywood, Odunze, Addison (pick 88), Raymond

Te - Goedert, Fant (Kraft was the only reasonable one left late, so couldn’t even go 3)

We're getting to the wild wild west part of best ball summer. Drafters are just doing whatever the **** they want, ADP and structure be damned.

It'll be nice when we have some more late round RBs we feel better about, whether the reports are meaningful or not. I agree, Tank is not someone I really want to click.

Maybe the second team surprises you haha. It's probably not a bad advance rate team, outside of being weak at TE.

Last call for the fast puppy. It's at 99%.

I said I was done at 75 and ended up entering 105 haha

These CD/Lamar/Andrews teams always look so good, but feel like they’re so easy to get they may be duped a ton, especially in the timeboxes

Qb - Lamar, Rodgers

Rb - Walker, Swift, Mostert, Javonte, Chubb

Wr - CD, Evans, Nabers, Keon, Wicks, Gabe, Corley, Tez Walker, N Brown

Te - Andrews, Juwan

Hot damn, I wish I had time for that many fast. But the slows are just more manageable. My goal was 50 for the fast and 100 for the slow. I'm going to end up at 48 for the fast, so I'll add 2 more to the slow. The MMB contest being dropped while these were out was also a wrench I didn't expect.

There's definitely going to be a lot of chalk from the first few draft spots with these combos, but ultimately, you don't really have to beat that many teams between w15-17. Just keep drafting the high upside. With that said, I've been having some trouble at the 2/3 turn trying not to keep drafting the same combos, for my own diversification purposes. But with my perceived tier break in the mid-3rd, I don't really like to reach much. I think there is a decent drop off once Kyren is gone. And every time I think about doing a DK/DJM 2/3 turn from like the 2, 3 or 4 spot to change it up a little, some ass hole takes the 2nd leg at the beginning of the 3rd.

That's a fun team. Might have preferred a different 5th back, since the top 4 will all be in committees. But at least they should all have weekly output.

Man ppl get started on the season early

We're degens.

The QB snipers are out in full force lol. It feels like DK.

I built a nice Chase/Tee stack in the first 4 rounds. Burrow was drafted at 89 by the guy who started Breece, Davante, Diggs, Kelce, Jacobs, Mixon, Stroud. Cool Cool. I ended up taking Herbert 15 spots ahead of ADP, because I didn't really have many good outs remaining. Purdy was gone by then too. The thought of a Goff/Monty stack or Baker as my QB1 didn't exactly excite me.

My last fast puppy.

Herbert, Maye, Nix

Monty, Moss, Rico, Jaleel, Gibson, Shipley

Chase, Aiyuk, Evans, Tee, Ladd, Polk, Mims

Kincaid, Bowers

This is a fun one

Qb : Dak , Baker , Levis

Rb: Henry , Mostert, Warren , Zeke, Gibson , Estime

Wr : Lamb, Nico , Kirk , Godwin , Lockett, Juann Jennings , Rondale , Elijah

Te : Kincaid , Kmet , Fant

I think everything is good except unstacked Levis (haha) and WRs 6-8 are too weak.

Hoping we get some more clarity on E Moore and Tillman soon.

If you ever feel the need for a late 3rd QB and don't have someone to stack them with, I'd go with Danny, Fields, or Maye.

Guys that have rushing upside so it doesn't necessarily matter if you have them stacked.

by Rev9 P

By any chance does anyone knows the Vikings third receiver or have a profile of him?

I believe he’ll be a valuable last round pick
