2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of January. Through 95 drafts, my exposures are below. The player order is based on current ADP. Some of these ADPs have been quite fluid over the last 3 months, with FAs and rookies moving the most. Most of my exposures are structurally driven, rather than player take driven. Especially at this point in the game, pre-draft.
But there are some players I simply couldn't avoid going heavy on, like McBride and Andrews in the 5th round. I'm actually quite heavy all of the top TEs, minus LaPorta and Kincaid. I also tried to make sure I had at least 1 TE by the end of round 8, with Ferguson being the last of the group.
Also took approaches like attacking Nabers and Odunze harder than MHJ, at their relative prices.
What do we like and not like?
Rookie season is also upon us. Redraft is still 3.5 months away from heating up, but there will be rookie drafts, dynasty startups, and best ball drafts leading up until then.
Good luck to all, and may injuries and variance be kind.

Wish I had no Dotson as well but happy with 12% LMC
Feels bad for my 2% Johnny Wilson too haha
It’s all about relativity and opportunity cost.
The QB1 will likely score more points than any other player, but unless it’s superflex, you only need to start 1. You can find solid starters who can still provide enough points later in the draft.
You need to start multiple RBs and WRs each week. And the top RBs and WRs are so much better than the middling and low end players. So in a 1QB nonTEP league, you want to take both of these positions in the top rounds.
TE is mostly devalued since that position scores the least, on average. And in past years, it was Kelce and everyone else with a few other guys providing upside and spike weeks. The position is pretty deep this year, so you can still get quality later on in the draft.
I have 6% Dotson as well.
Philly does play Washington in week 16, and revenge games are [kinda] real.
Could mean less DeVonta in the slot, and a lot of people were bullish on that potential role in Kellen’s scheme.
Dotson is nothing special, but it does lessen the target consolidation. He’s still easily the third best WR on the roster now.
Could hurt Goedert’s target share some too if him and Dotson are both running short to middle range routes.
Could also lessen any potential target share Saquon was going to see.
When would you estimate BBM fills? Trying to plan how quickly I need to get my last 40 drafts in (I’ve given up pretending that I won’t max it haha)
At 80% now
I’d probably aim to be on track to max by the end of next week. I think it’ll be full by Labor Day. But tough to say.
Loved LMC because I was a fan of his father in Denver I have 25 lineups and Luke’s on 72 pct of my teams I feel good about his shares no scary terry which I may regret and Ben sinnot on 20 pct of my teams not that great but I like it
You think the DK milly fills ?
No chance. It might not even hit 80%.
It’s filling up kinda fast now but that makes me happy. I’m maxing it out so I’ll take the overlay .
Just saw 15th round LMC in a Puppy.
Badge Bros Brawl is live. $10 with $50k to first and $200k guaranteed. 6 person drafts for anyone looking to change it up.
Another rare rb/rb from me, not sure my WRs are good enough
Qb - Purdy, Herbert, Bryce
Rb - CMC, Kyren, Brooks, Dobbins, Herbert
Wr - Aiyuk, Pickens, Diontae, Ladd, Palmer, Polk, McMillan, LMC
Te - Andrews, T Johnson
They all have solid upside, so it could be enough.
Big Eagles stack with Dotson haha. 30 spots past his ADP. Probably could have pushed it another round but decided to lock in.
Value everywhere.
Hurts, Geno
Jaylen, Brown, Singletary, Charb, Ekeler, Roschon
Chase, London, DeVonta, Terry, Keenan, JSN, Dotson
Goedert, Sinnott, Juwan
Also ended up with my first 4 QB build of the summer when I lost service in the car while drafting (but not driving lol). Wanted Vidal instead of Fields.
Also lost service at the 4/5 turn and auto’d Kirk/Andrews.
Trevor, Geno, Maye, Fields
CMC, Pollard, Wright, Davis, Gibson
Kupp, Devonta, Kirk, JSN, Nuk, Gabe, B Rice
Andrews, Kittle
I’ve seen worse teams.
How does Ekeler go after Charbonnet ?
Honestly, I didn’t even want Ekeler. He fell to 151. ADP is 131.
Was planning to go Fant then Geno at 151 then 162.
Got Singletary at 127.
I have no clue what Ekeler will be this year but he has to be great value at that point .
One of the softest rooms I’ve seen all summer.
Got Stroud/Nico
Would like one more pass catcher.
Metchie
Brown
Stover
??
Noah for me
Lots of fun! Decided to hoard RBs.
Daniels, Watson (could have taken T-Law in the 18th instead of Watson?)
Bijan, Taylor, Kyren, Monty, Swift
Drake, Evans, DK, Rice, McLaurin, Kirk, Godwin, Watson, LMC
Andrews, Njoku
Any gullotine leagues anywhere?

Set one up id be interested .
I like it. Nice scroll down for the LMC stack.
It’s easy to go by ADP in this contest only drafting 108 players, but this one where you want to chase guys who have high upside, but will be drafted lower percentages at the end of the roster.
Makes it even easier to tack on high contingent upside rookies like Corum, Benson, Wright, Braelon, etc. instead of Swift with the top 4 you already had. Still chase some of the high upside rookie WRs outside of the top 100 like Polk, Mitchell, LMC, etc.
Might even want a QB and a TE who isn’t always drafted either. Watson and Trevor are both good candidates.
Nice rake percentage of only 4.8%.
Have my 2nd ypl in 30. Got the 10/10 ew.
I really wanna go Puka/Wilson but am considering Wilson/Achane (over Gibbs and Taylor) would that be too stupid?
