Thanks in advance. Does anyone know of any literature that documents the rise and fall of no limit poker in the United States?
I know it became popular in the early 80s and died out until it had a resurgence with online poker and TV but is there any book that has documented this?
I am writing to you to raise an issue about: 888poker
The issue that I have experienced was: I requested to withdraw funds. 888 poker denied my withdrawal stating I needed to submit my bank statement which i did. Upon contacting their support to follow up, the requested I send my bank statement. When I informed them I already had done so, support said my bank statement wasn't valid and asked me to submit my valid bank statement, which left m

Becoming a professional poker player was not something I thought I'd be growing up. I started playing at 18 with my friends and I was consistently beating them, and I slowly became more immersed in the game as time went by. It wasn't until I was 22 that I realized I could be a pro, and by the time I was 24 in 2017 I was playing full time. The allure of this game has always been that I can s
It seems like he comes online like every day, and most of the time losing 5k and then not back until next day again. Anyone got an idea why he does like this?
Why not sit down with 20k and play, why 5k~ every single day? He cant be broke because he keeps coming back the next day, and it cant be a smart move either to decide to give it a go with just 5k every single day, and then not play at all for
Loses the pot, dealer doesn't take his chips, he's stacking his chips neatly and then reaching for a reload like he was planning on keeping them, I'm confused...

I've been asked by the admin of a new site to share some important info with our community. There's a new website called https://www.pokerscammerslist.com designed to help identify and keep poker scammers out of live games. It's already getting traction, with several major casinos agreeing to honor the info provided.
If you're a poker backer or involved in any poker-related business and need to report a scammer, just follow the instructions on the Legal page of
I'm on a plane and haven't been part of this community in way too long, so I thought I'd do an AMA. Feel free to fire any questions about the main event, my poker career as a whole, or my personal life (within reason).
The player projectbaby is cheating on almost every hand at high stakes on Global Poker using GtoWiz. Many of his opponents have sent long lists of matches using FairPlay to global support and haven’t heard a thing. Additionally, anyone who has asked them why they aren’t doing anything in the global support discord group has been banned. We don’t know what else to do besides make this public. This has been going on since Fa
Main event from 2011 to 2016 had below 7K entries each year, before climbing back to 7K+ in 2017 and increasing each year until 2020 COVID. It then increased each year again starting with 2021.
What happened in 2011-2016? Why was the main event attendance so low during those years?
Sorry for not converting but this is really strange!
This has not been edited in anyway besides the hand ID and if you know DOUBLEBALLER you may want to let him know about this (He like auto left the table when the pot got shipped to phil! then come straight back! Software glitch maybe?)

Allegedly, Steven Jacobs aka Stevesbets — a legendary tilter and all-around maladjusted nutcase — was doing some bearding work for Spanky through a middleman, they won a bunch, then DraftKings froze 200k and supposedly Steven didn’t do anything to recover the funds.
Allegedly, Steven was able to withdraw the 200k and has tried to cover his tracks and was sued by the middleman to recover the money. Now, Steven is suing Spanky for damages bas
