So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at low-info Boomers like my religions aunts. I have two questions:
a) Is anyone here who supports Trump bothered by lies like this?
b) Does anyone know what he's even talking about here? Like is there some grain of truth that he's embellishing on bigly?
This is very typical behavior for Trump. He believes that, as a president (or a former president), he is entitled to an enormous amount of respect and deference from the media, no matter how big a jackass he is or how little respect he shows for democracy or the office. I guess that's a fairly typical attitude for someone who has been surrounded by yes men for the most of the last fifty years.
It's had a good few months but that has just taken it from being worth ~1/3 of what it was 3 years ago to ~1/2 of what it was. It isn't cratering in the way it was for a while but it's still not really growing.
Tesla the company and tesla the stock aren't the same. Stock down dont mean company down and stock go up dont mean company doing good.
The stock attempts to forecast the companies' most likely outcome and the likelihood of different outcomes. If their net income only increases 15% yoy, or sales of a specific something only increased by a factor of 40 instead of 50, that alone could cause the stock to drop despite a company contnuing to grow. The company is valued at 3/4 of a trillion because of the expectations that it has. Tesla isn't going to resemble anything like it does now in 10-15 years whcih is why it's valued at nearly 20 Ford motor companies as of now.
It's sad that liberals consider MAGA a pejorative.

Inflation has been steady at about 3% (which is where it needs to be) for over a year. It fell consistently after the Inflation Reduction Act passed to get there.
