I guess the camaraderie. Memories.
Generally everything sucked while doing it. But then once you finished the course/exercise/task you were like that was awesome and you remember all the good parts.

Had a reunion last month with the regiment. Bunch of guys I haven't seen in 10-15 years. Was awesome. Too many drinks were had.

I think trump is right to feel cheated on the 2020 election, but....

This summary of your views is the exact reason no one takes your opinions seriously or treats you with any respect. None of the things you equate are similar in scope. The facts you rely on in your posts are mostly untrue and/or blatant lies.

I just assumed it was a Menudo account, where it had to be handed over to someone younger once the account owner turned 16.

Cracked the case right there, it all lines up.

Blahblah is a belligerent POS liar who knows he’s a lying POS

Anyone who treats him with any respect lacks an ounce of self respect

Man love this RNC theme of unity

Doesn’t trump have a wife?

Man love this RNC theme of unity

Our message of unity--women and minorities are at the root of every problem in this country.

YOUUNNNNNNITYYYYYYYYY

I think of the Chappelle's Show skit every time

Trump didn't speak but attended, right? I think under these circumstances they should have done it differently. He either speaks unexpectedly (option 2), or he doesn't attend, they rumor complications of the assassination attempt and further threats ... they leave it up in the air all week concerning his scheduled speech ... and then he does a Willis Reed for his speech at the end of the convention.

It would probably be the sickest thing that's ever happened in the American political arena. The adoration and glory would be fervid, impassioned, unbridled. I think there would be no stopping the movement.

I wonder why George Orwell missed all this by exactly 40 years. Right down to the "Ministry of Truth" and "Truth Social." It might all turn out like that novel "Futility" that so paralleled the actual Titanic sinking that it was uncanny. It's looking like it.

I think trump is right to feel cheated on the 2020 election, but not because of voter fraud. I think the intelligence community, main stream media and social media coming together to block the laptop story right before the election is cheating.

Your 1/6 question is pretty broad so I’ll include a few thoughts: a group of a ~thousand nuts broke into the capitol - most with the idea to protest but a few of the biggest nuts actually thought the

I guess there are different levels of being 'cheated', and you seem to equate an irrelevant (non)story about a candidate's son, to (due cause for) the losing president's refusing to pass the torch, to this day denying that he lost.

Instead of congratulating the winner, he seems to have pressured many officials to commit fraud and thwart democracy at it's core, and after fueling as much rage as possible towards this impending loss, he all but ordered them to pitchfork your symbol of democracy, to demonstrate to the people within that 'everyone' supports him (typical fascism), and they better comply.

After all that, it absolutely baffles me that he is the Republican nominee once again.

Thanks for taking the time to answer, I appreciate your perspective even though it almost seems disingenuine when you bring up Hunter Biden or BLM.

I don't claim to know what he was thinking, I'm going by what he said and did. If I had to guess, he had to know there was no voter fraud, because the whole voting fraud thing was something he made up out of thin air. Plenty of his inner circle have said they told him there was absolutely no evidence for voter fraud. He called state officials telling them to "find votes", so he was attempting to commit his own voting fraud. Why does the dis

I think with someone like Trump, no actually with a lot of us but especially with Trump, it’s possible for someone to argue something vehemently despite knowing it’s false, when repeatedly arguing it’s true can lead to it actually being believed, and this is probably more common when people feel wounded, rejected or failures than we like to think.

iow he ended up falling for his own bullshit, which now means he carries with him strong feelings of being the victim of a gross injustice.

Even if true, I can't think of just about anything that society collectively should give less of a **** about than Trump's feelings.

That's a rather diplomatic way of putting it. Bahbah's reltionship with honesty and integrity ended in acrimonious divorce a long time ago, if it ever existed. These days, if one of his posts contains any true statements, it's by accident rather than design.

I'm not saying we should give a **** about his feelings, but maybe we should be wary of what it could lead to.

It did me until I accepted the fact that almost half the people in this country are a combination of incredibly bad and incredibly stupid. I never would have thought this before trump.

And those people think the same about the other half 😀

And those people think the same about the other half 😀

Because its easier to dig in and lash out than it is to dig out and lash in

Aren't you shocked that it wasn't a MS13 trans gangster who came here illegally that tried to assassinate Trump? Just another Republican white guy making awful decisions.

Doesn't that shock you?

I mean both sides are bad, one fetishists AR-15s and gun culture and constantly calls for political violence. The other side called Trumpers "deplorable" eight years ago, which really hurt some feelings.

REALLY hurt some feelings. truth often does though i guess.

I guarantee that most of the people that vote democratic don't agree with a lot of stuff the democrats do. We actually think about issues. The right has no such ability to think. Just clap and nod and agree with everything trump says.

Which side controls Hollywood?

The business channel, which is usually politics-free, is pretty much giving the election to trump. Sigh.
