Ye sure, the numbers are the payout if their bets come true

Sure. FYI - in the UK at least, if you say "I have x on y", x is how much you bet, not how much you stand to win. Usually you'd provide the odds, e.g. "I have x on y at threes" or "I have x on y at 2 to 1 on" (which means 1:2).

The best thing about polymarket is anyone can go to it and look at the data. It's all transparent. You can see every transaction and what price someone bought shares for. No need to argue or debate over it. The facts are all there. Just click a few buttons and see for yourself.

Yes odd talks are always weird, we think a tad differently in Italy but I get what you mean as I talked with anglo ppl often enough about these topics.

We tend to talk payout when it's not extreme odds, otherwise we clarify something like "I could win 10k on this" (say a long shot), which implies you bet like 300 or 700 or whatever and it's mostly profit.

2p2's domer is one of the biggest market makers on polymarket

he has an incredibly low roi but it's still a very nice number

Polymarket is basically perfect except you need crypto to bet lol (I am not a lover of crypto).

But given stable coins exist whatever, you can play around with no exposure to actual crypto variance so it's fine with me

by housenuts P

It probably is him, but no guarantees. anyone could've put that name.

What's the scam?

lol, you just said part of it yet can't remember?

market manipulation. why are they so "transparent" about this data that cannot be trusted?

maybe to hype it up for others??

oh plus vertucci

I don’t doubt that by pure accident and circumstance awice had a net worth in excess of 100MM but I also vaguely remember him being a complete pos so **** him

What's manipulation? You can bet at transparent odds whenever you want and the bet will be resolved based on objective facts.

Prices move, like everywhere, lol at "manipulation"

cool, bet away

Lol ok boomer

No idea what you mean by data can't be trusted.

If you think there's manipulation and one side is juiced, seems like an easy money making opportunity to take the other side.

But keep fading for staying poor reasons.

lol, they target for instance degens watching hcl ad then put up data that you just said is likely bogus. those degens have no clue, they just see action...where poly likely wants them to see it at any given point in time.

im not sure if you are as stupid as you pretend to be or not sometimes

Sounds like easy money for sharps, then.

Man you're old.

Buddy cares about usernames people select for themselves.

Or think there's 'bogus' odds but doesn't take the profitable side.

Kamala busted on faking the crowd size! First the dirty democrats arrange a coup on Biden, then they spread misinformation and lie about crowd sizes. Lucky we have Honest Don, the choice for truth and fair democracy.

Interesting. I mean, I get the part about not posting too much info but lol @that saving him from getting kidnapped. If someone were going to kidnap him for ransom, I doubt they care how much proof he posted - it's indisputable the dude had a few milly available to pay a ransom.

oh i mean like i recall when watching his livestream from the hospital chat was asking things like which hospital he was at and he absolutely refused to disclose which one it was out of concerns for his safety - i think he was even upset that people "doxxed" him in the stream and figured out he was somewhere in HK

he was also sharing his screen to demonstrate things but wouldn't log into his actual accounts for safety reasons

but you also gotta remember he's from the live tourney circuit which means he knows people (and perhaps was a victim himself) who were high stakes poker players who'd have their hotel rooms broken into while they were playing where nothing was stolen but instead they put trojan software on their laptops to then see their hole cards when they played online

he made himself a public figure with his "look at me and how much i'm trading for huge amounts" and had personally seen the lengths certain people will go to to target wealthy people who have assets which are easier to get away with stealing

also

this is why you suck at national politics. it's not about me or you.

i don't bet any sports and especially not politics. not because i am against it, because i don't have the time and am smart enough to realize i'm not in the 'sharps' category right now and that it has been years since i have.

i can't even tell you the giants odds right now, let alone who to bet on...

and guess what...that is how national politics works as well. most of the people are uneducated in general about what is "best" in general for a bulk of the uninformed public who are not "sharps"

and these are exactly the people scumbags like polyscam target.

play dumb...sharp

I still don't know what the scam is.

If your view is that all sportsbooks and casinos are scams, then I guess we have a different definition of scam.

i don't recall a list of names at the sportsbook trying to show me who the 'cool kids' are betting on...

Have to admit, I'm pretty confused what the scam is myself. That most punters lose at gambling?

I mean, you can play at a high limit bac table and see what all the whales with their super duper tracking systems are betting on too...

Warren Buffett posts newsletter or what stocks he has. Stock market is a scam.

**** man, I was going to make my next account "hung2myknees6969". There goes that plan.

i'm sorry thinman but this is incredibly ignorant - transparency is the great equalizer

they are otherwise going in blindly, now instead they can see who has what positions and whether they are historically profitable

and trust me, the stupid degens are not the ones clicking on positions to see who has what

imagine if you're going to watch a football game, you want to put 100 on it to make it a bit more interesting and are unsure which side to take but you can click and button and see what side billy walters is on? there's a reason why the sportsbooks don't disclose that stuff (beyond the clerical work it would require)

dumb **** literally just said 'you can't be sure it's him because anyone can use any name...'

so bigger dumb ****s go to the site, see a name they recognize...bet the same for 'reasons'. turns out it's not their hero at all. who's the dumb **** and who took advantage of the dumb ****?

if i go to a random sportsbook in bumm****eqypt and they list names like Jimmy The Greeks picks but it just 'some guys handle' and jimmy is too dead to contest it...

is that a problem for you?

by d2_e4 P

**** man, I was going to make my next account "hung2myknees6969". There goes that plan.

Sklansky would sue you since it would lead people to believe 2p2 is a scam.
