Nate Silver's (NS) poll graphs have shifted substantially since yesterday favoring Kamala. Maybe its his DNC finished algorithm. 538.com really hasn't changed much overall:
AZ: NS=Kamala +1.7%, 538=Kamala+1.4% (a shift of +0.9% for Kamala by NS, a shift of -0.1% for Kamala by 538) So in AZ NS has Kamala up by 0.3% more than 538 now
FL: NS=Trump +4.4%, 538=Trump +3.9% (a shift of -0.8% for Trump by NS, a shift of +0.1% for Trump by 538).
GA: NS=Trump +0.8%, 538=Trump +0.5% (a shift of -0.7% for Trump by NS, no shift by 538)
MI: NS=Kamala +3.5%, 538=Kamala+3.4% (a shift of +0.6% for Kamala by NS, no shift by 538) So in MI NS has Kamala up by 0.1% more than 538 now
MN: NS=Kamala +8.7%, 538=Kamala+9.2% (a shift of +0.7% for Kamala by NS, no shift by 538)

Overall on average Nate Silver has increased Kamala by 0.7% since yesterday and 538.com is the same overall as yesterday.
Out of the 7 swing states above where Kamala leads, NS now has Kamala ahead by more in 3 than 538.com, they are the same in 2 states, and 538.com now has Kamala ahead by more in 3 states. In the 2 states where Trump leads 538.com has Kamala closer to Trump than NS.
In general the shift for Nate Silver had Trump dropping by 0.2% or 0.3% in most of the states (he stayed the same in NC) as well as Kamala gaining by about 0.4% or 0.5% in most of the states.
I am curious what tomorrow will bring...

aren't there polling averages that are better than just grabbing whatever nate bronze or 538 say? maybe rcp? thought there was a good one that excludes the crappy outlier polls

That statement was in no way directed toward you. It was based off of the recent RFK comments in the thread.

I have never found RCP to be more on target than 538.com.
Looking at it now it has averages in every state that are less than 538's and Nate Silver's. In NV for example they are not counting the one recent poll by Focaldata that has Kamala up by 6% MC and 8% Heads Up. So they have Trump ahead. In AZ they do have the NY Times/Sienna poll that has Kamala up by 5% but somehow they aren't averaging it and they have Trump barely ahead there as well. Similarly in PA they are missing a couple of pollsters that have favored Kamala (including Focaldata).
I am not sure but I think RCP only changes their numbers when a new poll comes out. I think that 538.com adjusts on a daily basis counting the more recent trends (recent polls that have favored a candidate). I could be wrong about this though. Its just what I have seen at various points in time. I no longer actively look at RCP's current numbers.
