2024 US Presidential Election Betting Thread
Ladies and gentleman, that time of the year is almost upon us. Republican debates start next month and I am looking forward to seeing all my friends again. It almost feels like school is back in session.
Some interesting candidates this year and wondering if Domahhhh is going to risk his entire net worth on a coinflip of a single election (getting -180 of course).
We didn't think it could get any worse but here we are. I wish the BOL to all competitors in this arena.
Once upon a time, there was an old hotdog vendor who sold withered and gross hotdogs.
Everyone kept telling the vendor, "Sir, these hotdogs are no good. They are withered and gross. You must stop selling these hotdogs." He refused to quit. And why not? After all, hungry customers kept buying his hotdogs.
Each day the crowd grew angrier. "Sir, your hotdogs are causing other hotdog vendors to lose business. No one wants to eat other hotdogs after having eaten yours. You must stop selling these hotdogs." He refused to quit.
One day the most important hotdog vendors in all the land came to visit. They pleaded with him. "Sir, we have great knowledge of hotdog vending. We have studied the hotdog market. It is clear your hotdogs will ruin hotdog vending for everyone. If you don't stop, pretzel vendors might take over. We cannot let this happen." The old man thought long and hard. Selling hotdogs was all he had ever known. He had sold so many hotdogs over the years. He truly believed he was the best hotdog vendor. He refused to quit.
The crowd grew more enraged. They denounced him and made all types of threats against him and his hotdog vending business. He refused to quit.
Just when it seemed he would never quit, he became sick with a mild respiratory virus. That's when he realized, it was indeed time to quit.
Immediately, the crowd burst into cheers. They lifted the old hotdog vendor up on their shoulders and paraded him around in celebration. He was honored with many important awards including the Hotdog Vending Lifetime Achievement Award. People gave speeches proclaiming there had never been a more noble hotdog vendor.
The next day, a new hotdog stand opened in its place. To everyone’s surprise, the new dogs were still withered and gross. But the people ate them anyway just as they always had simply because they were hungry.

No more hotdogs for this party. Trump broke them. They’re lucky if they’re the mustard party moving forward. That all depends on how far they wanna take it and how badly they wanna let Trump break them. If they keep it up they’ll be lucky to be a mere poppy seed much less a whole bun.

Not sure if it is because for one it's a legitimate health risk for someone his age (although less for him given he's vaccinated, had it before & has access to the best medical care around), but moreso that he's now sitting at home feeling sick & sorry for himself. It puts him in a much more vulnerable place when he's left alone to reflect rather than being out there keeping himself busy in public.

Don’t derail the thread rickroll. I might be breaking the hot dog rules but I like both ketchup and mustard on mine. Does Biden use both or only one of the condiments? Does he even know what mustard is at this point?
