Ill go ahead and answer this here. The answer is really simple. No thresd is a mod free zone. Why you have that idea is beyond me. This is not "our own thread" as if it is the posters and it excludes the mods.
The posts I deleted were in response to someone who posted that we have a spammer. We, in fact, had a spammer. An actual spammer. One who started multiple threads with a post of nothing but about 30 links in it.

Yes. I guess I'll change the title now that things have changed. That title. Comes from my (unsuccessful) attempt to move nonmod related posts here instead of the mod thread.
If you have an issue with a post that you thinks needs mod attn then report the post. If you have another issue related to modding pm myself and ganstaman.

OK. I'm going to try a different approach. I am closing the mod thread. Prob 90% of the posts itt have nothing to do with mod issues. And of that 10% prob only 10% requires forum poster input to handle.
So if you have an actual issue that requires mod attention, pm me or ganstaman (or preferably both) with your issue. If it is simply to call our attention to a questionable post hit post report. If we feel an issue needs group input we will open the thread and pose the question.

I responded to D2 comments itt as an exception as I knew it was just a misunderstanding rather than an actual issue needing input or discussion. He actually had reported the post and posed his question and would have gotten the same response had he just waited until I saw it. We dont see or respond to post reports or thread posts in real time. It just doesn't work that way.

I, and the other mods tried and tried to get people to limit posts in the mod thread to just mod related issues, so that those posts can be quickly identified and acted upon. Sadly, those efforts completely failed, as some posters seem to think part of our job is to spend, cumulatively in a month, hours sorting through and moving nonmod related posts to where they belong just to find a handful of actual posts requiring mod action.
That cant and wont continue. Since the change, very few people have reported posts or pm'd us with actual issues requiring mod action. They are welcome to do so.

Look at the word count of your own posts. If you spent half as much time moderating as you do posting, you wouldn't be having this conversation.

LOL. I type fast and think faster, so the amount of time I spend creating my posts is likely less than the time it takes to you read them, even if you put vaseline on your lips to speed things up, and for sure less than the time it takes for you to comprehend them.
And of course, you are comparing the time you spend on a post to the time it takes for amod to read a post, determine if it is a post of substance that should be moved to another thread, and then complete the multi-screen process of actually moving that post to the appropriate thread. And that multiscreen process has to be repeated for each different thread. Esp on mobile devices this is a time consuming process.
So just do the math. If a mod spends just 10 mins a day sorting and moving the dozens of off topic posts in the mod thread (and that's a low estimate) then that's 300 minutes or 5 hours out of our personal time wasted just because some posters cant be bothered to put **** in the right thread to start with. Sorry, but that is over.
And while our posting jousts are at times entertaining, they are never challenging and thus grow boring quickly. Plus, I see an angry and verbally violent mob of posters forming battle lines over the difference in the definitions of happy and glad. So I am stopping now.

Didnt get that. Last one from you that I got was several hours ago. Can you double check the name. When you type in browser there are four others that have a 4 digit number after the browser that also start with 2( thats pretty weird, btw). Maybe you accidently hit one of those instead of mine. Or maybe it takes the system a while to deliver messages. But as of yet I haventvreceived it.
