The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced it will be removing border vaccine requirements impacting all non-U.S. citizens entering the country as of May 12, 2023. A statement from the DHS confirmed the removal of the mandate stating the following:

“Beginning May 12, 2023, DHS will no longer require non-U.S. travelers entering the United States via land ports of entry and ferry terminals to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and provide related proof of vaccination upon request. DHS intends to rescind these Title 19 travel restrictions in alignment with the end of the Public Health Emergency and the termination of the Presidential Proclamation on air travel.”

The White House also confirmed the removal of the mandate along with a number of additional COVID related emergency measures, and further stating that additional details relating to the ending of these requirements would be available in the coming days. »

That is why he is an idiot he could have removed the vaccine mandate for truckers and they still couldn’t cross the border because of the US restrictions

Even if I loved Trudeau (I'm actually rather tired of him), the writing is on the wall IMO. I have to exclude myself since I did very well in the last 9 years under Trudeau.

But by many metrics, Canadians are worst off:

- Much higher housing costs.
- GDP / capita decrease.
- Higher debt / GDP

Which are all directly Trudeau's doings.

I put an apartment up for rent last Thursday morning, 1 ad and by Sunday:

- 400 facebook messages
- 25 different groups during open house visit.
- Sent out 10 application forms.
- Rented it for Feb 1.
- 10% higher than the previous rent. Could have rented it for probably $100 more a month but jesus this is already gouging.
