2024 WSOP!
The World Series of Poker has wrapped up its newest winter series and is announcing new details for the 2024 summer event in Las Vegas.

We’re busy on improvements to make sure 2024 is both the biggest and best event in poker history. Mark your calendars and bank those vacation days. We’ll see you in Vegas.”
The 2024 WSOP will take place at Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas from May 28 to July 17, 2024, with the Main Event running from July 3 to July 17. The Main Event – poker’s undisputed freezeout world championship – will have four starting days, beginning on Wednesday, July 3. Players may also register directly on Day 2 on July 7 and 8.
The full daily event schedule for the 55th annual WSOP will be announced in early 2024. Fan favorites, including the Mystery Millions, Millionaire Maker, and the Senior’s Championship, will return to the schedule in 2024. …..”
If I am right, what will the negative consequences to you be?
Based on some things I have seen I would say there is a good chance.
On what authority do you make this claim. And if you are wrong, what will be the negative consequences for you?
Kevmath said on Twitter a couple of weeks ago that the schedule should be released around Feb 14. Kevmath is about as good of a source as you can get on many poker related matters

Based on some things I have seen I would say there is a good chance.
None at all. But people like to make statements based on nothing in these forums. They just throw crap against the wall. It’s not useful. If you have reason to believe what you are saying is true, it shouldn’t be too much of an ask for you to tell us why. That way, if you are right, you will build trust in your thought process and/or sources. And if you are wrong it will be because of flawed logic or sources, and not just an example of overzealous and useless post.

Like the poster above said Kevmath mentioned something about it and I had previously posted in the WSOP thread in NVG that Allen Kessler had said a week ago or so that it would be coming around Monday the 12th.
The reason I didn't mention the kevmath is because I saw him say next week (meaning Monday the 12th on) but I never saw him say Wednesday, but I did see Pokerfuse quote him or wrote an article saying kevmath said Wednesday.
So just easier to say what I said.

Wonder if Eldorado fired a bunch of WSOP people because they think they can do just as good a job.
Its like what Hen Hogan said about learning the golf swing: do everything the exact opposite of what you think is correct and you will be close to the perfect golf swing.
It seems every decision WSOP/CET has made recently IRT the player has been wrong. Of course they squeeze more profit out of players, good for them.

Everything they do is wrong? WSOP and its brand is booming. Can’t even walk down the hallway sometimes due to crowds and people getting their picture taken in front of the sign.

Occasionally posters have reading comprehension issues as well as the need to contradict people for no good reason. Be that as it may, I definitely agree with you here. The late release of details surrounding the 2024 WSOP is indeed anti-player. I wonder if we will ever find out what caused it. If the schedule is more or less the same as last year, it will certainly cause players to wring their hands and speculate.

The payout structure for lots of large field events at the WSOP and beyond definitely need to be reviewed. Once you get to a point, the difference, for example, between 1MM and 1.2MM, or 500k and 700k is hard to justify when it leads to less meaningful min-cashes and final tables, etc. This is especially true at the WSOP where most of the large field events are 3+ days long.
As for the rest, none of these speculated changes seem to have much to do with logistics, so they still don’t explain the delay. I’m hoping there’s a really good reason, like they’re doing construction and adding another room. Or maybe moving things around compared to previous years. I guess we’ll
