ex-President Trump

ex-President Trump

I assume it's still acceptable to have a Trump thread in a Politics forum?

So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at low-info Boomers like my religions aunts. I have two questions:

a) Is anyone here who supports Trump bothered by lies like this?

b) Does anyone know what he's even talking about here? Like is there some grain of truth that he's embellishing on bigly?

Who's doing Trump's math? I understand they are making 1,000 pairs at $399. They're off by a factor of 1,000. Don't they need to either make 1,000,000 pairs or sell the 1,000 for $399,000 each?

He is getting only a fraction of that from rights.

There is a third party company making and selling them , bookijg a significant portion of the profits.

My back of the envelope guess is that the shoe costs 120-150 (including marketing and everything ofc), trump gets 80-100, the company doing everything gets 150-200

Lol, I have done zero research on this, but I am prepared to bet 1k right now that the guy is getting them made in a sweatshop in Vietnam. The shoe costs like 15 bucks to make, is my guess.

but what if you include "marketing and everything ofc"?

it just seems like how far have you fallen that you are basically scamming people for gas money now. like he went and showed up and got booed in person to hawk some terrible sneakers that are probably going to be TRO'd because of trademark infringement.

That reminds me, what happened to our favourite crackhead? The pillow guy. He plowed all his millions into Trump's campaign and went all in on the election theft IIRC. Did he go bakrupt and go back to smoking crack out of a chicken bone yet?

Is smoking crack out of a chicken bone a thing that anyone actually does?

Along with "no guns", and "no courts", there are also no crack pipes in prison, bro.

All that having been said, Pookie did pretty well for himself. Got himself slapped for jokes on a pretty big stage. I think the only way crackhead Mike got himself slapped is figuratively.

He's been doing it for 30 years.

I was talking about people on the outside. I know you have smoked crack out of a chicken bone.

Ofc the mats are cheap but there is everything else

The guy who got a signed pair at the auction on release night for 9k probably has a nice ROI in the future regardless of what happens.

Make America great again

I guess when the entire MAGA brand is built around zero policy and little more than sadism and scaring the libs you can’t really expect that the people you elect for the part have anything resembling basic intelligence

U.S. District Judge John Tunheim ordered Lindell to pay
the $5 million award he had promised (plus interest) within 30 days.

Lindell claimed he had data that showed the Chinese government had
interfered in the election and offered a prize of $5 million to anyone who
could prove his data wrong. He called it the "Prove Mike Wrong" challenge.

It’s a lot easier to make fun of an innovator than to be one.

You guys seen the Lincoln Project Documentary? Surreal. May you live in interesting times, tho lol

5 part series. Just started the 1st one, and it's immense. The 1st time you hear Ted Cruz(a few minutes into the documentary), listen to the man.
