To reiterate some of the points:

2. Racist posts and other bigoted statements that target a particular group or individuals of such groups with derogatory comments are not allowed. This should not need further explanation.
3. Graphic Images need to be in spoilers with a trigger warning.
4. Wishing Harm on other posters will result in an immediate timeout.
5. Genocidal statements such as "Kill 'em all" etc, are no longer permissible in the thread.
If anyone has any questions about the above, please PM me. I don't want a discussion about the rules to derail the content of this thread. If anything needs clarifying, I will do that in this thread.

The Ukrainian army hasn't been obliterated by the russian army, and Ukraine didn't use ukrianian civilians as human shields.
Hamas fighters have been somewhat more successful at killing Israeli soldiers than Israeli soldiers have, but not by a lot.

But this is mainly because Hamas isn't killing a lot of Israeli soldiers and Israel is bombing all over the place.

To be fair, the ignore function here is ****. Never seen another forum software that doesn't auto-hide when someone on ignore gets quoted.
And even WORSE, they're an army who is not afraid to die, which is a terrifying prospect to face in battle. It's why the Vikings were so hard to defeat. When you genuinely believe that paradise awaits after your sacrifice, you are truly formidable in battle.
So, just like every armed force in history.
We are finally conditioned for wartime when the conversation switches to my army can kick your army's ass.
Also just for the record, I don’t believe anyone in here cares terribly about women being raped during war. It’s just a gotcha point used whenever it suits people. This thread has been an excellent example.

The rebels fielded conventional infantry during the War of Independence. Incidentally, you do know that more Americans fought on the Crown side than the rebel side during that war, right? And you do know that most of them were black? For the obvious reason that the rebels were led by slaving magnates? I mean you do know that, right?
I don't get the criticism of UNRWA. It has thousands of employees. Of course some were Hamas. They need day jobs.
Is there any suggestion that UNRWA has taken policy steps to aid Hamas? I've yet to hear of any. Did Hamas members affect a decision?
I think the Israelis are just trying to starve Gazans.
