5. Genocidal statements such as "Kill 'em all" etc, are no longer permissible in the thread.
If anyone has any questions about the above, please PM me. I don't want a discussion about the rules to derail the content of this thread. If anything needs clarifying, I will do that in this thread.

Do I think you personally is advocating? Probably actually, as you strike me as a misanthrope who hates humanity and life and anything remotely resembling fun and laughter and general positivity. It is ridiculous to expect one country to provide food for another country they're currently at war with.
I don't think Russia should be at war with Ukraine, but I still wouldn't say they were doing something additionally wrong because they aren't sending food shipments to Ukraine.

in response, israel took unusual control of gaza's internal affairs (energy supply, imports etc) in order to minimise this threat. israel has a special obligation, as a consequence of their unusual control
i understand it feels off that israel would be subject to special obligations simply because it took the necessary steps to protect her civilians from the terrorists next door, but that's life

If you agree that Israel is blocking aid, then removing Israel from the equation by building a port seems pretty great.

It's ****ing neither at this point. It's some combination of malice and incompetence.
They could feed hundreds of thousands of reservists with battle ready amount of calories, they could feed 2 million starving refugees the 1500-2000 calories or so they need to survive until more aid is available.
Border crossing capacity? Could have been built. It was destroyed instead.

Israel is blocking the aid and bombing it when it does come in. have you not been paying attention?
USA could get aid in there with a phone call. instead they are doing hunger games style depravity bc some people buy into it. meanwhile, at least 5 people have died, dozens injured, and more houses damaged by the drops. and furthermore the aid doesnt get to the most needy and instead goes to the strongest and fastest.

everybody knows it wont happen but many people (and I am not accusing Lond as I dont know his viewpoints) use this argument as justification for the continued genocide on the Palestinians. its really sick.
