And lol, the girl thinks she is a boy and the boy thinks he is gay... weird way of forming a standard heterosexual relationship, but whatever floats your boat, I guess.

It's a regular heterosexual relationship, they just went the long way around. And one kid is sucking on a dildo. I don't READ, so when I first saw it I assumed the kid was sucking on a real dick. I haven't decided yet if it is more appropriate that it is a strap on.

Wait, so is her boyfriend gay but he's with a girl who thinks she's a boy? Or is he just going along with the dildo sucking charade to get that sweet anal jackpot? So much to unpack here.

Dude, I think I got this kid pegged.

And it sounds like I'm probably not the only one.

I’ve read the book gender queer in its entirety. It’s several hundred pages long. It was not written by a girl or boy but rather a non binary cartoonist. The book is intended for Adults, and has beecome the singular example those on the right like to point to as a bad book. But the reality is this book was written by a non binary adult for other non binary adults, not for the wider lgbtq community.
I think this book should be available in high schools for non binary children who may be struggling with similar issues in the same way most high school libraries have graphic books about sensitive issues.

Should it be in elementary schools?

I like how you found one elementary school in Texas that supposedly had it and you lose your mind and act like it is in every elementary school in the country. Strange thing to become so indignant about when you are an ocean away.

Sure sure it's "one catholic priest only" who is a pedophile as well.

Man I have been very close and still I am to come to your country with my kids, as an adult son of a citizen that can sponsor financially I just need to enter a queue basically

Well, just don't land in that one school system in Texas.

high school kids are 14-17 and not adults. also this book has appeared in middle schools and maybe lower.

if a non binary person wants to learn about non-binary stuff they should jump on the internet.

I don’t mean it’s intended for adults as in its x rated smut. I mean it’s intended for adults the same way an R rated movie is.

I think this book should be av

This is definitely not true. They point out excerpts from pretty much all the books on the list. I remember Flamer especially has some "risqué" content.

I actually think the whole book thing is a non issue in the real world, and just right wing rage bait. It is one thing if it is actually teachers "grooming" children to hide **** from their parents. That is something I think is probably going to cause more harm than good for most kids. But the idea that an otherwise straight 14 year old is going to read one of these books and be "turned" is pretty LOL if you really think about it.

eh, I don't know. Maybe 99% of kids are not influenced by a book like that at all. There is a very small percentage of people that are unduly influenced by stuff they are exposed to for various reasons. There are much higher rates of young people identifying as gay, non-binary, etc., and at least some of that has to be because of much more open exposure to those things (though obviously not all of it).

If we are going with the "no kid will be influenced by this", then why don't we we just apply that to other media? Why bother with R ratings or even NC17 ratings? Doesn't a 14 kid that hides that he is watching Showgirls learn to hide stuff from his parents?

I am personally torn on this subject. One thing I can say for sure is that it does not benefit non-binary people or the left in general to have the attitude of "who cares what your kids are exposed to? It's not like they will be changed by this anyway!"

Lol Showgirls. That's what our generation had to make do with. And our parents, with top shelf mags from the corner store. Kids today have it easy, 2 clicks and you're away.

Elizabeth Berkey never did anything for me, even going back to Saved By the Bell days. But I always found Gina Gershon very attractive in a sultry kind of way.

ok well make sure you dont leave out the 'h' in gerson jfc I think I just got traumatized.

I was like wtf is Dunya into.

I visited a garage sale last weekend and bought a short box (about 100) Archie comics from the 60-70s for 50 bucks - which wasn't some amazing deal but certainly wasn't bad considering the condition of most were mid grade or better. He ended up giving me about 300 road and track magazines, almost every issue from 1970 to 1999. Granted, they arent really worth much, if anything, right now, but they are fun to look at the cig and alcohol adds as well as just seeing the dramatic differences in how things were back then.

Anyways, he had about 6 boxes of playboy mags that he was selling for a dollar each. Most were 90s with some 80s and a few older. I wrestled with the idea for about 20 mins on whether to buy them all but ended up deciding to pass on em. I mean, I get it, but I was surprised that they're so cheap.

As long as we are doing a 90s R rated movie theme:

ye who cares about children that aren't yours right?

I prefer to worry about real things like abuse, drug use, social interaction and education rather than exposure to cartoon drawings in a school library book.

Lol, remember trying to look at a playboy at the magazine rack in a corner store or drug store while your mom was shopping?
