***WrestleMania 40***
I dunno why people are so afraid to start these threads.
I think the actual proper show starts at 7 p.m. ET? Hope so, because that's about when I'll get home.
I really don't know most of what's happening on this card, but airdropping into WrestleMania cold usually still works out to be a fun time, so I plan to watch quite a bit of this.

Maybe he can kick Cody’s arse for the title.
Would be a funny time to pull a dusty finish right about now
HARD TIMES
Don't shake McAfee's hand, Cody. Whip your dick out and piss on his leg.
Fully expecting Roman to exercise his rematch clause tomorrow night and make Cody a one day champion ala Kane.
Finished. The. Story. to the 1-2-3 count was S tier job by Cole
A+ show top to bottom for night 2
Also, Romans title reign ending because he saw Seth in shield gear and had to hit him in the back with a chair the same way Seth did to him instead of hitting Cody was an excellent touch
Caught the tail end, amazing ending.
Fantastic show.
I was very confused when they said Cody is looking up to sky at his papa, because ever since I first saw Cody I thought GoldDust was his dad.
So then I had to Google if GoldDust had died.
Dustin Rhodes has an AEW Championship qualifying match on Wednesday
minor grunch...Undertaker shouldve been in his full gear, didnt like the casual dress look
I agree with this. Minor gripe but a gripe
We all laughed hard at Seth showing up just to get his ass beat then eat a chair shot. Rough weekend
I absolutely thought ambrose was gonna show up but had zero clue how that was remotely feasible
Seth Rollins and the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad weekend
(Not really, he played a huge part in like 2.5 feuds in the build and had two excellent matches)
When I heard the Shield music I was convinced it was Moxley/Ambrose. Seth in the old gear was a nice touch.
Top to bottom day 2 was ****ing excellent. Knight styles was the worst match and even that was pretty good
Storytelling wise and just general enjoyment this was my favorite ppv in a long time
Seth be like…
Seth still did his part in costing Roman which was what he was really after in the whole story. Also the callback to Seth betraying Roman in the Shield with the chairshot was great, Seth even fell into the ropes just like Roman did 10 years ago.
Taker appearance makes some sense since Roman is one of the two people to beat him at Mania, though that was pre-Tribal Chief. I'm guessing Austin was the first choice for the history with the Rock but that must not have been possible for some reason.
It is impossible to overstate this
His evolution from timid bitch who isn’t ready to take over for JR screaming ‘is this symbolic’ while undertaker is murdering bossman to that truly terrible time where’s he’s wrestling Lawler to the objectively outstanding announcer he is now was not an arc I was prepared for
The 6 man with Bubba Ray Dudley reffing was significantly worse than Knight/Styles. That's a negative star match if not for Snoop on commentary.
maybe austin wanted too much money? agree he wouldve made more sense with rock tie in
My only minor gripe is that I wish they had of let Sami/KO get involved too given how big of a part of the Bloodline story they were. Even if it was just to stop Jimmy/Solo at first, lose the upper hand, and then have the rest play out the same or something. But it's minor
‘For the championship’ or ‘for the win’ will always tilt me though
It was fun. Probably woulda been way worse to see in person but I really enjoyed it from my couch lol
Agreed. Cole has become an excellent announcer.
Amazing what happens when you take a geriatric maniac out of his ear and let him do his thing. I think back to the first time that I realized "wait, is he actually good?" was when he called Beast in the East (some random house show they did live from Japan I think?) and Vince wasn't there, and it was actually great.
Made it a point to avoid betting odds cuz I haven’t been following closely enough to think anything was obvious other than rhodes
Was shocked by how much of a prohibitive favorite Logan Paul was. Guessing France and saudi ppvs have something to do with it. Don’t think I’d hate him having a world title run. He’s a very talented wrestler and has pretty solid heat
