Areas between core protected areas and the surrounding landscape or seascape which protect the network from potentially damaging external influences and which are essentially transitional areas.
Are you saying that Israel planned the concert so that civilians would be in the way of an area they wanted to protect and Hamas would have to go through that area?

I am not sure how you can reconcile a brilliantly planned and executed attack as a false flag. I never said the Israelis planned it. the Resistance did. they beat Israel on that day.

They deviated. The attack on the festival occurred at 7am, along with the other attacks.
I think it's pretty safe to say that they went to the concert to kill civilians, because that's what they did and they had the power to choose to do anything else if they desired. Other areas they attacked were not military related either.

which other areas? the kibbutzes are military outposts.

I think i read that from hamas that oct 7 was in part due to resisting israels colonial expansion. If we take that in good faith, would that attack offer any opportunity of that actually happening. This is one of many things that i dont see being the actual objective. Becuaae israels response seems perfectly expected considering the vitriol and oct7 was literaly the perfect scenario for israel to accompliah what hamas claims it doesnt want.

I'm pretty sure this is not true, at least not all of them. Don't really care to check though as it's not particularly important.
Really all of this is just a series of excuses for what is obviously an act of terrorism. To recap the list of excuses:
1. Not all of the targets were civilian
2. The main source of dead civilians was an opportunity that presented itself
3. IDF killed some of their own civilians,
4. Military were killed as well as civilians
5. its still questionable how much civilian murder they did
When asked to clarify why these are important, the reasoning isn't given. It's just that for some reason these things matter when determining if it's a terrorist attack or not.
Nobody was armed at the concert. They weren't in the way. They were the plan the whole time. Hamas admits they planned to take HOSTAGES from the concert. They didn't say POWS they specifically said hostages.. as vic pointed out many times, hostages means civilians

1) It kills the thread, or any point in participating in it imho. We arrive at such a level of bad faith and such a powerful hose of lies that frankly I don't even get what we're doing here.
2) It makes me question moderation. Here we're inching into stuff like Holocaust denialism. We're so very very close to that. In a lot of workplaces, schools, etc, you'd be gone right now. Imagine me denying 5 digital Palestinian civilians were dead right now? That, is this. But the antisemitic way.
I can't believe that someone got banned for saying Gazans use their birthrates to help advance their cause (which nobody over there denies), but we're back at Oct 7th being a "military" operation.
