Boy she drew him into it. It's quite a revealing thing, as to why he would do it, the interview. I'm going to analyze it. One, he likes to talk and has always just BS'ed his way thru life, ala some POTUS types. But there is something much deeper. It is frequently said that criminals have a subconscious desire to confess or be caught. Not so much, in my opinion. What they do have is a desire to flaunt that they got away with it, a desire to overrule reality with their tongue, by surreptitiously "confessing" in jest. Bill Cosby had a comedy routine about drugging women, way back.

It is this utter narcissistic trait of "my words overrule reality, and become reality, so if I say it, if I talk about it, I am accomplishing the flaunting of my guilt and that I'm getting away with it, because the official version is I didn't do it and wouldn't do such a thing by virtue of the fact that I would "go there" in speaking of doing it."

It's the most dishonest thing under the sun, and is a mind that has severed itself violently with truth, then doubled back and spoken of it in a way you can't take at face value, counting on that to carry the day.

It's simpler than all taht. Oj was a hustler blessed with good looks and otherworld athletic talent. A hustler never says no to a dollar.

he was found not guilty in a court of law, so are you talking about yourself here?

Excuse me did you run for +11K yards like The Juice?

That sonofabitch should have been imprisoned just because his slow-motion jeep chase booted the Rockets' playoff game off the air.

I can still remember how pissed I was.

You are so pissed about the NBA game that you are remembering the chase vehicle wrong. It wasn't a Jeep it was a white Ford Bronco. Details matter. It you gave testimony in a trial of some sort that it was a Jeep and Johnnie Cochran was the attorney on the other side, he would be saying, "if the vehicle don't fit, you must acquit."

I liked the Naked Gun movies quite a bit, but he was terrible in them; by far the worst part of the films. He was completely miscast but also seemed to be a bad actor. No idea how the hilarious folks who made those movies managed to screw that up so badly.

Amazing how I could even momentarily forget after hearing "white Ford Bronco" a gazillion times. But I am still pissed about the game and you're right. In a line-up I could not identify a single vehicle that is processed by my brain only as "a slow-moving obstacle on the road."

Wow, especially in the second half of the clip when he laughs.

after several weeks of weaving hypothetical into my daily verbal fights
