Omaha Journey to High Stakes
Hi,
I had previously created a pb&c thread, but since I achieved most of my short and mid term goals I figured a new one was in order.
I have played Omaha for roughly 1.5 years.
Currently in an Omaha stable playing 1/2 PLO online.
Gym, school, poker is my life right now 😀
I want to grind up to high stakes PLO and play against some of the toughest competition.
After I grind a roll with the stable I want to transition primarily to live PLO and maybe also travel for good PLO games.
Primarily things I want to work on are eating more healthy, and not losing confidence in my plays when I am losing.

Short session back, still getting some technical stuff setup, but stopped running below EV! Won a 2k pot.
Here's to running hot for a little longer at least

Did some digging into Jerimiah’s discord server, and found the accusations of graph faking for portemilio to be unsubstantial, would like to apologize for falsely accusing him. Given that this piece of evidence is untrue, it’s absolutely my responsibility to bring attention to it. Especially given that he’s running his own blog and posting results there now.
The RTA and site ban evasion stuff I still have an issue with. But can’t accuse ppl of stuff they didn’t do.

In SB's shoes would you 3b a few bucks less so you can re-pop if MP does shove? Or are you always wanting to play huge pots oop against two 550+bb stacks that you cover?

Probably just gonna 3b smaller yeah. This club in particular driving all my volume atm. Games seem clean + quite soft so just gonna play it when I am able.

10k hands in with Ninjas, 25bb/100ev. Also running hot in all-ins, which is always awesome. Playing about 1/3rd of my volume in 5c.
Up abt 10k in dollars so far this month, will do my best to make it a personal record month!

Probably the biggest struggle I had was that the 6c games that I was playing (in the softest club we have access to atm) was all 35% min vpip games. Min vpip just so gross with high rake. Mostly play no min vpip games but they are worth in this particular club.
Random non poker rant
Tron is the worst crypto network I've ever used. I don't really use crypto much, and received a profit split in USDT TRC20 (tron network). Ok, found someone to swap me for CAD, lets send it over.
Oh wait, I need tron tokens. Ok, I'll just move some of my USDT TRC20 over to TRON. Huh? I need TRON tokens to do that transaction as well?? Ok, so I just can't swap or send my USDT.

Well, I can just purchase some TRON tokens and then swap it over. Not a huge issue, just need like $10 of TRON tokens to make a transaction. Let me just open up the in app purchases in exodus.... Oh. Since I'm in Canada, and not with one of the few banks that does crypto, none of my banks will allow crypto purchases, and exodus isn't accepting other payment methods.

Well, I can just go to coinbase, purchase some TRON and then send it over... Oh. Coinbase doesn't sell USDT or Tron, because I'm in Canada.

Ninjas ended up sending me TRON, and I got swapped to BTC and sold it. But man, from a beginner crypto user perspective, this totally turns me off crypto as a whole.

It tilted me reading your crypto rant. Use DEXes. Figure out how to get gas to different chains. Self-custody. Avoid CEX unless you absolutely have to.
Fkn brutal run lately, if not getting colluded this is bottom 8% run. Not helpful that even though I've been cleared from a skill perspective, I have to win either 6 buy ins, or 9 buy ins of EV in order to move up to 3/6. Which I was really hoping would happen, but instead have just had a rough time.
Ignoring the PLO6 disaster, we're annihilating for 18.5bb/100 ev. Have made abt 3.2k in rakeback so far as well.
Overall quite frustrated with the run, think it's pretty likely I've been getting colluded at PLO200 at some point. Every site 1/2 is harder than 2.5/5 or 2/4. It's just so much easier for cheaters to blend in with the larger player pool at 200s.

Seems highly unlikely that I am not getting colluded, to be honest. Stable suspected we were getting colluded recently, and had talked to some unions abt it. 37 BI below EV in 10k hands wtf lol.
