These are our baselines. We're not reinventing the wheel here. If you aren't sure if something is acceptable to post, its better to ask first. If you think someone is posting something that violates the above guidelines, please report it or PM me rather than responding in kind.
To reiterate some of the points:
1. No personal attacks. This is a broad instruction, but, in general, we want to focus on attacking an argument rather than the poster making it. The same goes for calling people "baby killers" and "genocide lovers". It is not productive to the conversation and doesn't further any debate.
2. Racist posts and other bigoted statements that target a particular group or individuals of such groups with derogatory comments are not allowed. This should not need further explanation.
3. Graphic Images need to be in spoilers with a trigger warning.
4. Wishing Harm on other posters will result in an immediate timeout.
5. Genocidal statements such as "Kill 'em all" etc, are no longer permissible in the thread.
If anyone has any questions about the above, please PM me. I don't want a discussion about the rules to derail the content of this thread. If anything needs clarifying, I will do that in this thread.

on a better note, some colonel named Yogel Bar Sheshev got his stomach lit up by sniper rifle and it caught on fire. you can look up the video, its not really graphic. but I gotta think he will be shitting in a bag the rest of his life. his whole stomach is in fire. Israel said the injury was moderate.
who is Yogel? well he made the New York Times
so I am not just talking about this out of glee. I do have a point. if you watch the video, they pick this guy out of like 5 Israelis all in a close group. I think they knew exactly who his guy was and chose him due to his comments and actions. similar to how they took out the leader of the first Shifa massacre. (notice the next leader kept himself anonymous and stayed out of videos).
this shows the sophistication of the Resistance operations in terms of intelligence, surviellance, and execution.
Gl CN and those guidelines are fine.
My only advice would be to not try too hard to govern each post and poster in relation to the guidelines as you'll often find yourself arguing semantics with some really weird accounts.
Expect the guidelines to be broken, often, but always realize that simply handing out temp bans for egregious behavior will always be appreciated by most and usually expected by the others.

If the KKK had been democratically elected to rule all the southern states on a platform of destroying the Northern states, was supplied heavy weaponry by outside actors for the purpose of attacking the North, and used such weapons to periodically attack the North over 20 years, I am pretty confident the strategy after 20 years of this wouldn't be "moderation"
So Israel's military strategy at this point seems to involve going into a region, destroying military infrastructure (especially tunnels), ceding territory back to Hamas, and then attacking Hamas when it goes back in, without Hamas having the luxury of tunnels to retreat back into. And it seems to be working so far.
Of course Hamas can respond by not going back into areas once the Israeli military leaves, but then it risks allowing other tribes/gangs/clans to take over territories.
At this point it seems Israel has just resigned itself that there is going to be no postwar without Hamas, so the goal is just to weaken Hamas capabilities as much as possible. Of course this is going to be a worse case scenario for the Palestinians, as Hamas was horrible and violent and incompetent at the height of their powers, so it is only going to get worse with Hamas weakened and hunted.
But all indications are if there was elections tomorrow, Hamas would win by a landslide in Gaza and the West Bank, so it seems this is the future the Palestinians want.

On May 8, the UN published data showing 34,844 people had reportedly been killed, including 4,959 women and 7,797 children.

The books were so severely cooked that even the UN has to very quietly distance themselves from them. Read whatever new organization you trust on this. "UN revises Gaza casualty figures" will get you there. You'll notice left leaning media totally avoiding the story....
